The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and gave us a tour of the art and the premises. The rooms we saw were immaculate, refined, and the views of the city unmatched. It is impressive what this family-run hotel is doing to revive the history of the American immigrant story in New York City.

My friends and I stayed at the historic Blue Moon Hotel for four nights, five days. The beds and pillows are so comfortable, the staff is very friendly, and the hotel is in a great part of town. I felt comfortable at and would stay at the Blue Moon again!

We enjoyed an incomparable Italian meal - incomparable- the service was over the top but the flavors were just amazing. I wish we could have ordered even more - my wife is still talking about it. Afterwards we were shown a stunning room upstairs- we will certainly stay here next time.

This hotel was the best and most relaxed experience I have had traveling in a long time! Perfectly quaint hotel, prime location, and great hospitality. Randy greeted us at check in and made us feel right at home. And after booking over the phone with Dovid, showing up and checking in with him made us feel like we were talking to an old friend. Great room size, beautiful balcony, amazing artwork throughout, and an awesome cafe in the lobby. Traveled from Hampton Roads VA, and will be back for sure!!!

Loved the Bluemoon Hotel. The rooms are so accommodating and had what we needed. They were decorated very nicely as well. The balconies had a great view of the city! It was so nice to sit by the patio on the balcony and see the vibrant Lower East Side. There’s a delicious restaurant and cafe in the lobby which I recommend as well! The location is great and right across the street from the tenement museum. The host,Randy, was warm and friendly

Like staying with your favorite relative: nothing is quite right, but if you say anything, you’ll never hear the end of it. Great location: Across the street from the Tenement Museum and short walk to ICP, A.W. Kaufman, and fabulous dining including Dudley’s. Great bed, but maintenance could be better (My partner edited my list). Missing musts for a standard hotel room: Body lotion, facial tissue, and quality coffee. Unique, in a great location. With a few tweaks, could be an excellent experience.

I was very happy to stay at this hotel, particularly with assistance from Dovid. He knows a lot about the city and gave me good directions, suggestions on places to go, etc. The accommodations were good. It would be great if there was a tea towel and cloth to wash and dry dishes used. The only other thing I might suggest is to offer lotion in the rooms. I would recommend that others stay at the hotel. It's always nice to be treated well by hotel staff. Dovid is the best!

It is a wonderful trip with Mr. Randy, the view is beautiful and room is clean! Their food is homemade, smells and tastes so good! -Deborah

I would rate my experience as “Excellent.” The hotel exceeded my expectations in every aspect. They were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and always willing to assist with any request. The room is an incredible VIEW! If you in NYC this is the hotel !!! The food is authentic! -Ana
