Room was clean and comfortable, however the restaurant was not open and no room service for meals.

The WiFi was horrible. It kept dropping. I had to work remotely so I ended up using my phone and paid for coming. The staff didn't wanna help. At breakfast someone asked for scrambled egg and they got it, next day when we asked they said they don't have it and when I said they did yesterday for someone else, she replied that's not possible. The following day I asked someone else and we got eggs.

We picked this hotel due to its decent reviews,price and its shuttle to ****** ramma. Upon arriving we were made aware that the shuttle is no longer running as there was a "sorry for the inconvenience " posting beside the check in desk and a posting beside that "sry" the website isnt updated. I believe they did this on purpose because they know it deters people from booking.I booked a room with 2 beds got one eith a bed and pull out couch. We made due but there was no bedding available for the pull out and we had to wait for it to be delivered. There were NO towels in the room. It was freezing cold even after turning the heat up to high for hrs. No bag or the ice bucket. I can't recommend this place at all. Stay away!

We booked in, are room didn't have heat in our room. They wouldn't give us another room. They took hours to come bring us space heaters to hear our room. Front desk help basically didn't care about the situation. I had to sternly ask for those heaters after the 3rd time they finally brought them up. At night went to jump into bed and there was a huge disgusting stain on the bed sheets. Next day they said come at check out and we will give you a discount. They couldn't get a hold of any management and left us leaving without knowing if we are getting compensation. They took off $20 off my hotel stay. Do better... When people book months in advance and get experience like this, doesn't sit well. They should have gave us all the money back for how cold our room was, stated by front desk " well we can cancel it and you can find somewhere else but the other rooms are more expensive." Even though it was their fault.

Difficult to make contact with on ths phone and staff was not friendly. Rooms badly under supplied

Wonderful people. We upgraded to an Executive Suite. First we couldn’t get the fireplace going, then we couldn’t get the bed couch to close. Ran into some others staying there, and they problems with their bed couch too. I like their prices, so I guess it’s a bit of a trade off. If they updated it (replaced bed couches, repainted, updated their fireplaces etc.), it would cost more to stay there. They came right away to get everything working, but it was a bit of a hassle most people don’t want. We’re going to try another property next time we’re in Orillia.

Stay was good.. Courteos staff and nice Rooms.. Breakfast wasnt as expected.. Would be back again...

We enjoyed our stay at Stone Gate Inn. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed for our stay. It was convenient to have a kitchenette an the toiletries were a nice touch in terms of quality and amount. The pool is small, but it was a great temperature and a nice option to have the opportunity to swim indoors. Parking is easy, the staff are friendly and the breakfast was good. We’ll stay here again.

Price is what you pay for. We paid extra to stay in a hotel with a hot tub only to find the hot tub was broken when we arrived. Their shuttle to the ****** was also not in service, which didn’t bother us, but should be reflected online when people book. Just like the hot tub. The room was large with comfortable beds, but easy to see that the rooms weren’t cleaned properly. Dust all over the lamp base and head boards, and a childrens toy sticking out of under the bed prompted me to see no one has checked under the beds to clean in quite a bit. Good enough to sleep in, but if you’re someone with an eye for cleanliness this could bother you. Coffee maker in our room was broken, so went downstairs to find large coffee pots filled with hot water and instant coffee beside it being added. Breakfast was baked goods and great value yoghurt, nothing special. We waited to order scrambled eggs as a sign said on the buffet said you can ask a waitress, but we sat in the breakfast room for 35 minutes without anyone coming in. Overheard other guests saying they ordered eggs and never got them. Wouldn’t stay here again with the other options in town, but OK for a one night stay passing through.
