⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional service in Kanas – Charlie is a absolute star We have travelled all around Asia and China, and Charlie, the hotel manager, is genuinely one of the best we have ever met. We only stayed for two nights, but any problem we had, he helped us with immediately. The standout moment was when a thunderstorm was about to hit. We were just about to message him to ask a massive favour, if he could possibly take in our washing before the rain started. I checked my phone, and he had already messaged us to say he had already taken it in for us! He absolutely went the extra mile, and we cannot recommend this hotel enough. This guy should be working at the Marriott or Hilton! If you are visiting Kanas, stay here and you will be in incredible hands.

Perfect stay for a visit to Kanasi National Park. Beautiful B&B at the end of the tourist village, across a stop of the free public bus bringing tourist to the parks entrance. The owner directly welcomed us, our luggage was put in front of our room while we did the check in. No problem for me as a foreigner. Room was spacious, tidy and well equipped. No A/C, but temperatures at night drop low enough for a comfortable sleep (late June). Breakfast was basic Chinese, coffee available. We had to shorten our stay due to a personal matter. Despite no free cancelation policy, the owner agreed to shorten our stay by 1 night and refund us the money. Everything handled over the Trip App in English.

Their exceptional hospitality, elegant rooms, safe and secure environment, very delicious food at their restaurant, the staff are all amazing, kind and very helpful, A big Thank you to all the staff working there ( Shi Shi , Hanan . Sune Yue, all restaurant staff and waitress Hannan, and the guy who carved the delicious lamb meat and drove us to the bus station sorry forgot his name ) will see you guys again. I highly recommend Kanas Flower Room Boutique homestay.

The host was friendly and fetched us from the bus stop, and even provided a free room upgrade allowing us to have a direct view to the snow-capped mountains. Very appreciated on the nice gesture. However, we encountered the sewage flowing out from the underground pipes when we were about to take shower. The host was quickly attending to the issue and whole process of cleaning took 2 hours till 12am. Despite the effort, the smell was still in the air and the sewage still flowed out from time to time. Unfortunately, there was no room available for an exchange and we had to bear it whole night. The experience was discounted. In addition, there was sweating smell from the pillow that I had to use once-off cotton towel provided by the hostel to cover the surface. Other than that, the view was nice and the food was decent.

We would like to give out utmost compliments to the fantastic service rendered to us by Jack of Concierge services. Being our first time to Altay, Xijiang, we are not familiar with transport and Jack has been an absolute gem. He helped us secure pickup at late notice despite the snow condition and continued to take care of us throughout our stay. Our first time in Xinjiang is absolutely wonderful thanks to Jack! The manager on duty also took feedback into stride and did his best to remedy hiccups. Hilton Altay has bus shuttle to the Jikepulin Ski Resort which makes skiing a breeze. We did 3 days of ski until the end of hours and came back for the lounge service. We were thoroughly pampered and will come back to stay at Hilton in a heartbeat. Looking forward to be back next with family. Thank you Jack! Keep up the good work!

Fantastic hotel close to the Hemu Jikepulin Ski resort. Note that this is NOT a a real ski-in, ski-out hotel that another reviewer has stated - it is not possible to ski directly to the resort. It is about 8-min walk from Cable car station 2 of the ski resort to the hotel, but there is a bit of a walk uphill (so I still requested for pickup service). There is drop-off and pick-up service to the ski resort but there may be a bit of waiting because the cars can get full quite fast especially in the mornings - this was during the Chinese New Year peak period. The room is spacious and I loved the big balcony and floor to ceiling windows which had a nice view. However my room was super far away from the elevator so it's a bit of a walk carrying my ski equipment walking in my ski boots every day. The room was way too hot to sleep in though! The thermostat in the room was 30 deg Celsius! No matter how I adjusted the fan, it was not cooling down so I often had to keep the balcony door open slightly otherwise the room was just way too hot. Breakfast is a feast - there is a huge buffet selection of vegetables, meat, fruits and others - it was my best meal of the day! The staff in the hotel are also all very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed my stay there.

Great location, great amenities, great service. Really nice of the hotel to provide free room upgrade. Hotel comes with washer and dryer and those who wish to stay for long duration. Short walk to the transfer station 禾木山庄, easy to get around to most places in hemu village via the free internal shuttle bus, including to the ski resort. If you don't feel like walking, the hotel provides a free shuttle service to 禾木山庄. The driver is helpful and prompt with shuttle service requests. The breakfast spread has a good variety of noodle soup/porridge, pastry, fruits and tasty stir-fried dishes. The chef tries his best to satisfy the customers' requests, even helping me to get coffee when it is not on the breakfast menu. Free fruits platter in the evening.

We stayed here for 2 nights. I booked this accomodation because trip.com indicated this is a non smoking room. When we got into the room we can noticed straight away strong cigarette smell. I saw an Ash tray in the room that was just used. To reduce the cigarette smell I opened the door and windows and put the Ash tray into a plastic bag and tightly sealed it. Prior to check in we had a problem caused by the luggage transfer staff at Kanas Lake and the lady boss was kind enough to fetch one of us again to the luggage release point at Jiadengyu car park station. Fresh fruits were supplied daily to our room. We are happy with that. The location of the accommodation was not near to the shuttle bus stop as compared to many hotels in the vicinity. The bathroom has no wall hook and towel rails for hanging clothes and towels. This makes bathing not easy especially in the cold autumn weather. Disposable paper bath towels was provided and it was uncomfortable to use besides being inefficient to remove water and moisture from the body. One of the lamps on the ceiling was not working. The curtain has a part that was dislocated and not fixed. Glass with no handle was provided and when it's filled with hot water it's difficult and dangerous to hold as you can drop the glass easily if you are not very careful. The elderly lady at the accommodation was very helpful and told us to use the common area chairs to put our bag as no luggage rack was provided in the room. The shower head in the bathroom was made of metal of inferior design and one of us burned our hand when bathing.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful stay at the hotel! They upgraded our room to a log cabin, which was spacious and beautifully designed. During winter, however, it was a bit inconvenient since the cabin is separate from the main building, making it harder for our kids to go for breakfast. I requested a transfer to a room in the main building, and the staff arranged it promptly — very helpful. We also had an early departure, and the hotel thoughtfully packed breakfast and snacks for our kids. The only minor issue was that the bidet in our room (1217) was broken, but overall, the service was superb. Breakfast buffet was decent as well. Highly recommend for their excellent service and accommodating staff! I hope they can also have a small playroom inside

I think we got upgraded, because it looks more luxury than we thought. Near the bus shuttle to Kanas Tourist Center ~350 m, the view from our room is amazing. Sure will be back again❤️❤️❤️ thank youuu
