My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Meiyuan Luxury Hotel in Hohhot, and we couldn’t have been more delighted with our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the elegance and warmth of the hotel. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and impeccable service, ensuring a smooth check-in process.
The room we stayed in was nothing short of luxurious. Spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated, it provided a perfect blend of comfort and sophistication. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the high-quality linens made for a restful night’s sleep. We were particularly impressed by the attention to detail in the room’s amenities, which included everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay, from a fully stocked minibar to a well-appointed bathroom with premium toiletries.
The hotel’s dining options were equally impressive. We dined at the hotel’s main restaurant, which offered a delectable selection of both local and international cuisine. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from, all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. SSanqianzhang部屋の設備はとても素敵で、寝具も快適です。
部屋が暑すぎたので、ウェイターに床暖房を消すように頼んだのですが、理由はわかりませんが、床暖房を消してくれました。とても暑くて一晩中眠れませんでした。
チェックインの際にお茶の試飲ができるのですが、ティーアートの女の子2人がホテルの無料試飲クーポンを持って行って、ホテルの特典を利用しているような気がしてとても恥ずかしかったです。

XXieyuanyuan幸運なことに、私たち全員が政府関係の仕事をしていることもあり、滞在前から好印象を持っていました！ホテルは美しい自然環境と、管理の行き届いた設備を誇り、市内の観光スポットにも近い便利な立地です。国賓11号館のフロントスタッフは丁寧で、歓迎してくれ、細やかな気配りで、あらゆる要望に応えてくれました。ハウスキーピングマネージャーの張延安さんは、私たちを部屋まで直接案内し、アメニティの説明をしてくれた後、ウェルカムフルーツを用意してくれました。部屋は広々としており、少し古さはあるものの、よく手入れされており、細部まで行き届いた配慮が行き届いており、まさに家庭的な雰囲気でした。朝食のセットメニューは手頃な価格で美味しかったです。フフホトを訪れる際は、ぜひまた新城ホテルを選びます。

ゲゲストI stayed at the Vienna Hotel during my recent trip to Hohhot, and honestly, it was a bit of a mixed bag.
The Good Stuff:
The staff here are great—really friendly and helpful, which makes a big difference. The rooms themselves are actually quite nice; they’re spacious, clean, and the building feels relatively modern and well-kept.
The neighborhood is very quiet, so I had no issues with noise at night. It’s also super convenient if you need to be near the 2nd Affiliated Hospital. While there isn't much ”action” right outside the door, if you walk about 5 or 10 minutes, there are plenty of small local restaurants where the food is really cheap and decent.
The Not-So-Good
The location is the biggest hurdle. It’s pretty far from the city center—you’re looking at a 30-minute taxi ride just to get into the heart of town, and there’s almost nothing to do or see in the immediate area.
The breakfast was the lowest point for me. It was almost uneatable, to be honest. There’s hardly any variety, and they serve the exact same few things every single day. I’d recommend skipping the hotel food and just hitting those local spots nearby instead.
Overall: 7/10
If you have business at the hospital or just want a clean, quiet place to crash and don't mind the commute, it’s a decent choice. But if you’re a tourist wanting to be near the sights or you’re someone who lives for a good hotel breakfast, you’ll probably want to look elsewhere.
