Zion’s Palace is charming and comfortable. The rooms were lovely. We went all over the island throughout the day, but were very happy to return to our hotel at night. The staff was welcoming and helpful. They responded quickly to all communication. The breakfast was delightful. They had a great spread of breads, meats, cheese, fruit and jams/honeycomb and the chef made eggs for us. We stayed three nights and had early plans for two of the days, so they had some breakfast sent to our rooms the night before for us. I thought that was a kind gesture. We also ate dinner in the restaurant one night and it was very good. The patio has a wonderful view for sunset. They have extra parking that was easy to park in. Overall, we loved our experience.

This is a lovely boutique hotel with very comfortable accommodation, a lovely terrace area with fabulous views, and a fantastic team of people who are very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our two night stay. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed so we weren’t able to have dinner at the hotel but the receptionist kindly gave us recommendations for restaurants in the area. Breakfast was really good.

We just recently stayed at Zino's (5 nights) - a perfect location for our Madeira vacation. The staff is welcoming, helpful and goes above to take care of you. Breakfast is delicious - we only had dinner there one night and it was very good too. The patio area is a spacious, comfortable both for morning coffee and evening wine with spectacular views. Our room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. I would stay there again in a minute. Yes, as others have commented the road up to Zino's is steep. the first time up the hill can be a bit daunting but after that its really not that bad.

A gorgeous romantic boutique hotel with spectacular views. The hotel has a pleasant atmosphere and attentive service. We spent two weeks on the Island of Madeira and stayed in a nice Room with a View over the Banana plantations. We used our time well with Hiking, Trail-running, Exploring, sightseeing and afterwards Relaxing on the Hotel terrace (and small Pool) with homemade Poncha. Zino’s 1905 is the perfect spot to start exploring the Island and after a great day to enjoy a Sundowner and a lovely meal. It’s situated on the sunny side near Ponta do Sol on the Island so we had two weeks of Sunshine in April! A great thanks to the very nice staff working at the Hotel.

We stayed 4 nights at the hotel and should have stayed more - we were simply amazed. It is a super cute boutique hotel with an amazing view, very nice staff and delicious food. We felt very comfortable and would say it's the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed holiday. As the hotel has only 10 rooms, a very private atmosphere is created among the guests and staff. It is a must to have a car though, but parking is available at and close by the hotel.

Beautiful quiet accomodation with lovely panaromic views. Excellent facilities lovely communal spaces .For a luxurious treat its a must. Great staff charming and friendly. Personally I felt its important to have a car while staying at this venue.
