Lazib Inn Resort & Spa

This lovely little gem with only 20 rooms overlooks the lake and is in a quiet village famous for pottery. The terraced grounds with 3 swimming pools form a beautiful garden. We stayed in unit 10 near the top and close to the restaurant. It was a spacious suite with a separate sitting area. The toilet was also in a separate little room. The bathroom had a 2 person jacuzzi tub and a walk in shower. The bed was comfortable and was surrounded by a wooden step up frame. Overall lighting was good but the bedside lights were not adequate for reading. There was a good sized balcony but it overlooked the lot next store with a side view of the lake. The unit has 2 levels which can be a hazard if you are not careful. One of the best things about this place is the restaurant which could qualify for at least one Michelin star. Prices are high for Egypt but it was easily the best restaurant we haven eaten at during our first 2 weeks here. There are 2 options for breakfast an middle eastern one and a European one. We chose to order one of each which produced a big and tasty breakfast. We ate here twice for dinner and all 4 meals were French style cooking with Egyptian sized portions and were delicious. The pita style bread is baked in a traditional wood fired located in the garden.

The place was clean, service and hospitality was great! Breakfast was exceptional. Facilities were excellent. Around the resort, you’ll experience a great sense of culture, especially youssef pottery workshop where you can learn pottery.

The place is a real authentic , classy and up to the highest standards Staff are very welcoming and friendly , Suites are spacious , comfy and elegant. The food represents the true meaning of the fine dining. Check In and Check out was very smooth and welcoming. Just one comment , the playlist being played on the reflection pool bar needs to be reviewed to suite the serenity of the place , it was so random and sometimes it takes u off the mode.
