I've stayed here since April 2004 I love the place It's off the beaten path it's nothing fancy but it's getting better and you want to stay in the jungle anyhow I don't want any Foo Foo hotel. And J's great Maria still there several of the new girls are there and the guys and everything's fine. Food in the restaurants outstanding the presentation is excellent.

Our stay at Makanda by the Sea was nothing short of extraordinary. The service was first class, our room was spacious and luxurious and the staff were super attentive to all of our needs and requests. They seamlessly arranged all of our excursions, tours and transportation upon our request in a timely manner. They made us feel like we were royalty throughout our entire stay. Since it was our honeymoon, we wanted a place that was nice and secluded with great onsite amenities and Makanda far exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t have chose a better place to celebrate our union. Starting with Leo and Ariana in the reception office to Alfredo, Luis, Johnathan, and Keilor at the pool terrace/bar and Arbol Restaurant; they remembered our names and gave us recommendations on how to make the most of our stay in Costa Rica. We definitely hope to come back soon with friends. Pura Vida!

ホテルはビーチのすぐそばという絶好のロケーションにありますが、道路の向こう側に多くの部屋があり、多くの階段があります。ヴィラに到着したとき、ビーチサイドルームにアップグレードしましたが、海の素晴らしい景色を眺めることができましたが、かなり古く、かなり湿気がありました。プールエリアは素敵で、夕方まで営業しています。レストランはビーチにあり、いたずらなサルからナツメまで、地元の野生生物がたくさんいます。ランチ/イブニングメニューは美味しく、食べ物は本当に美味しく、カクテルも美味しかったです。しかし、朝食は貧弱です。最初の朝の後、私たちは実際に朝食のために他の場所に行きました。スタッフは皆とても素晴らしく、とてもフレンドリーで、私たちがそこにいる間は医療状況があり、彼らは私たちを助け、サポートするために何度も行きました。

ここでは彼らがあなたを台無しにします！彼らはゲストサービス用にWhatsAppをセットアップしていて、それがさらに台無しにしました。私はスパにいて、そこに持ってきた飲み物に氷が必要だったのですが、メッセージを送るだけですぐに持ってきてくれました。食べ物は朝食、昼食、夕食ともに素晴らしかったです。 Agua Azulesと町への無料シャトルサービスがありました。Agua Azulesでパラセーリングを予約し、すぐに降ろしてくれたので完璧でした。部屋は清潔でした。物件は綺麗でした。ナマケモノ、イグアナ、サルを見ることができました！サルはチェックアウト時にホテルの建物のすぐ外にいました（ビスタスイートを予約しました）。

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The rooms were big, updated, and clean. The only issue I had was with one staff member who stemmed to be snobby but the rest of them were very accommodating. I told him I wanted to stay another night and he told me that I needed to do it on the web. I stated that I thought it would be faster and cheaper if we would do it here, but he said ”no”. He was not interested in helping me, it seemed like. Oh well, I called the other hotel where I was staying two nights and they happily accommodated us for another night. I don't get these type of workers especially in Costa Rica where customer service I hold it in high regards. One of the reasons I love to come to this country it's because of their Pura Vida way of life, caring, loving, helpful. I guess los ticos are changing as well.
