ゲゲストThe best stay I’ve ever had in my entire life — and trust me, I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels and B&Bs. ;)
The rooms are gorgeous, spotless, and super comfortable, with great attention to detail — everything I could possibly need (and more!) was provided. The bathroom even had a Dyson hair dryer, a Kohler heated automatic toilet, and a Hansgrohe faucet! If you’re not familiar with these brands, just know they’re the best you can get. The location is convenient for reaching downtown Datong and various points of interest… but honestly, these technical aspects — which alone would already deserve a 10-star rating — pale in comparison to the warmth and kindness we received from the B&B owners.
My friends and I truly felt at home, pampered by Ben, the guy who runs the place with such care and attention to his guests that I’ve never experienced anywhere else (not even in 5-star hotels!). He and his sister picked us up at the station — both speak excellent English (which is not something you can take for granted in China) — and they recommended amazing local restaurants, must-see attractions, and even welcomed us with a lovely gift package of local specialties.
For breakfast, Ben’s mother prepared a rich and delicious traditional meal, and for our train trip she even packed homemade bread for us to take along!
Datong is a charming city, and if you visit, you absolutely have to stay here!!!

ゲゲストThis hotel combines the convenience of modern high tech with the spiritual beauty of traditional culture. The rooms themselves are constructed around courtyards that give a sense of what life might have been like in Datong many centuries ago. In the lobby and in the rooms, murals decorate the walls with elegant designs of birds or flowers. The cabinets, bench, and floors made of wood and the countertops made of marble work together well and draw on design choices that are classicly, universally appealing. At the same time, the entire room is wired with the amenties of modernity. The toilet has a seat warmer and a light that turns on when you lift the lid so that you can find it in the middle of the night. Similarly, there seem to be motion-sensitive lights throughout the room that light up when you walk in the middle of the night so that you can find your way around. The water in the shower and the bathtub is able to get very hot (which I love!) and has high pressure. There is also a top-of-the-line hair dryer. It's the perfect blend of high tech and traditional amenities! If I have one complaint it's that the room was so hot that I had to open my window to let in the freezing air, and still the room was hot! That shows how effective the heating system is!
The serivce at the hotel is also extraordinary! All the members of hotel reception are very friendly. And they send someone to your room shortly after you settle in to give you a platter of fruit, which was fresh and seasonal and artistically chosen it seems. They also have 24 hours service in case you need anything. My friend went into the lobby early in the morning shouting about coffee, and the staff came out quickly to make him a cup.
The hotel is also very clean. The blankets, the pillows, and the sheets are as white as snow. The floors are free of dust and dirt and smudges. Everything in the shower and toilet room was scrubbed clean too. And the shower drains smoothly without pooling any water, showing how well it is maintained.
Finally, the location is very convenient. You can see that for yourself by just looking at the map. But I would like to add that just outside the gate of the hotel, you can see the Prince's palace, which is beautifully lit at night. What's more, my favorite restaurant in downtown Datong (I think the restaurant is translated as BeiWei Family Garden or something like that) is less than 5 minutes walking from the gate. There are also multiple shops for buying vinegar or wine or shaji snacks. In less than 10 minutes, you can also walk to all the major commercial streets. I love the location of this hotel!

ゲゲストWe took a 23-day trip through China, staying in 9 different hotels. Without hesitation, I can say that our stay at Floral stood out in many ways. First, the hotel's structure is very beautiful and has been renovated while staying true to the traditional style of the region. The hotel room itself was probably the most beautiful we had seen on our entire trip: spacious, with windows that actually opened, good air conditioning, and modern decor and furniture without being over the top. Second, the hotel's location is within the boundaries of the city wall and is part of the old town, so beautiful to walk around and see the traditional houses - many of them renovated according to the traditional style. And third and most importantly, the kindness of the people who work at the hotel. I have never felt so welcome anywhere on holiday as at this place. Unfortunately, I arrived with health problems and needed antibiotics - equivalents of the ones I had brought from Europe. I asked the reception where I could find the closest pharmacy, but rather than guiding me there, Xiao Liu, the lady at the reception, figured out for me which antibiotic would be the right one and got it for me. The same when we needed a suitcase, rather than sending me to the shop she inquired about our desired suitcase and in one hour it was there. Drinks are complementary at any time of the day, and the breakfast (Chinese and international - sandwiches) was generous and unlimited. When we were running late coming back from the grottoes and needed to catch a train, Xiao Liu helped us out by bringing us all our suitcases directly to the train station. We will never forget all these acts of kindness and we are still grateful to her and the entire hotel staff for making us feel so much at home. Datong will stay in our minds and hearts forever thanks to the people of the Floral hotel. Datong is special enough for all the incredible cultural sights you can visit - but our stay there will never be forgotten thanks to the beauty of the Floral Hotel and its amazing people. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

ゲゲストWhat a fabulous courtyard hotel. Located in the historic town and exceptionally close to all the major sites. The room was very comfortable with a peaceful view onto the courtyard. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Thank you to Ye Zi for arranging all our drivers, giving us tips on what sites were open and making us tea and snacks when we arrived back from a big and cold day. The breakfast is amazing and having both the tofu soup with dough sticks and noodle soup were spectacular. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the breakfast and the beautiful atrium in the courtyard. Thank you for a wonderful experience in your fascinating city

ゲゲストB&Bの立地は最高です。景勝地や食事、お酒、娯楽を楽しめる場所がすべて近くにあります。とても便利です。入り口にバス停があり、タクシーで行くとたった7元で行けます。夜中に夜食が食べたくなったら、テイクアウトを注文すればお店が喜んでお部屋まで届けてくれます。家全体の床暖房、家全体のインテリジェンス、一流の質感の家電製品や家具など、ハードウェア構成が充実しています。サービスは一流で、対応が早く、顧客への配慮が行き届いており、本当に称賛に値します。彼らは積極的にどこへ遊びに行くかを尋ね、合理的な提案や旅行ルートを提示します。これは社会不安を持つ人々が喜ぶことです。衛生面も非常に清潔で、部屋にはほこりや水垢などは一切ありません。バスルームはとても清潔で、スマートトイレは非常に高級で、使い捨てのトイレカバーがあります。朝食は*、牛乳、切りたての麺、野菜炒め、冷たい料理など、かなり充実しています。量が多いので食べきれません。つまり、非常にコストパフォーマンスが高く、体験する価値があります。

匿匿名ユーザー客観的に見て、満足しているとは言い難いです。隣家の改装工事を避けるために大同に行ったのですが、この民宿の隣が改装中で、毎日8時前には電動ドリルの音が聞こえてきました。民宿は人和坊の北側にあります。広場全体がまだ完成しておらず、隣には中庭のある家が建設中です。ロフトを除いて一番高い部屋を予約したのですが、チェックイン時に1階だと言われました。部屋を変えてもらえるか尋ねたところ、満室だと言われました。しかし、装飾や照明はとても良いのですが、部屋の窓は開けられないので、部屋の換気はドアと換気扇に頼るしかありません。そのため、部屋の装飾の匂いがとても強いです。オーナーが狭い場所にアロマディフューザー5台（私は置いていってもらいました）と空気清浄機を置いているのはそのためだと思います。鼻炎持ちの私と子供にとって、この状況は本当に不親切でした。翌日には鼻炎がひどくなってしまいました。他のサービスはとても良かったのですが、装飾の匂いが最大の欠点でした。

KKatrin SauthoffMy husband and I are a couple from Germany. We booked two nights there, and our decision was absolutely the right one. From the initial contact (via the WeChat app, which is essential for your entire trip to China) to our departure, everything was perfect. We were picked up from the train station by car and taken to the hotel free of charge. This is especially good for Western tourists who don't speak Chinese. The first problem would have been explaining to the taxi where we wanted to go. The lobby and rooms are very beautiful, stylish, and equipped with the highest technology. Most of the guest rooms face the inner courtyard, so you can sleep very quietly and comfortably. The beds are very large and comfortable. The hotel's location is excellent. It's located on the northern edge of the Ancient City of Datong, just a few minutes' walk from the tourist attractions and the colorful and lively old town. So you can enjoy it without being disturbed by noise. I would especially like to emphasize the friendliness of the staff. Unfortunately, we don't speak Chinese, and the staff didn't speak English, but with the help of modern communication tools (language apps), we understood each other perfectly. Every request was fulfilled. There's even the option to use a washing machine in the basement of the hotel. This is especially fantastic for tourists on longer trips to China, as it allows for easy laundry. If you ever come back to China, we will definitely book this hotel again.

PPSOCWe were warmly greeted by friendly staff upon arrival, making us feel welcome right away. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and the team went the extra mile to help us register on their app as we are foreigners, ensuring we could easily access Wi-Fi and contact them if needed.
We had called ahead to request a humidifier and air purifier, and were pleased to find them already prepared in our room when we checked in. The room itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the inclusion of an electric toilet with a heated seat was a thoughtful touch, especially during the winter season.
Throughout our stay, every staff member we encountered was genuinely helpful and sincere in their service, always making sure we were well taken care of. We initially planned to stay from 6/12/24 to 8/12/24 but felt so at home that we decided to extend our stay for an additional two days.
A big thank you to the team at Mecure Hotel for their exceptional service and attention to detail. Me and my Husband had agreed this is best hotel in our 17 days China trip. We had a fantastic stay and look forward to returning in the future. Great job!
