A truly spectacular place to stay while in Datong. The owner and his staff made us feel very welcome, questions and requests were attended to promptly and with a smile. When the owner asked us to treat the place like our home, he meant it, and looked after us like family. Our room was stylish, elegant and comfortable, the contemporary finish inside allowed us our modern comforts while retaining its historical facade. Our room was one of two that shared a courtyard. Although too cold to sit outside, I can see a return in warmer weather to enjoy the courtyard. The first three pictures were provided by the owner as we were too excited and forgot to take pictures of the room, but they mirror reality. The last picture was ours, and will remind us of the magical time we had here. The accommodation is a short walk to the South gate of the old city wall, close to the buzz of the shops of the old city but away from the crowds. Five star hotels can learn a thing or two about service from this establishment. We will be back.

Excellent stay at Jili XING Homestay! Everything feels very new and modern, providing a great atmosphere for our visit to Datong. The service was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout – we felt very welcome. Highly recommended!

The best stay I’ve ever had in my entire life — and trust me, I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels and B&Bs. ;) The rooms are gorgeous, spotless, and super comfortable, with great attention to detail — everything I could possibly need (and more!) was provided. The bathroom even had a Dyson hair dryer, a Kohler heated automatic toilet, and a Hansgrohe faucet! If you’re not familiar with these brands, just know they’re the best you can get. The location is convenient for reaching downtown Datong and various points of interest… but honestly, these technical aspects — which alone would already deserve a 10-star rating — pale in comparison to the warmth and kindness we received from the B&B owners. My friends and I truly felt at home, pampered by Ben, the guy who runs the place with such care and attention to his guests that I’ve never experienced anywhere else (not even in 5-star hotels!). He and his sister picked us up at the station — both speak excellent English (which is not something you can take for granted in China) — and they recommended amazing local restaurants, must-see attractions, and even welcomed us with a lovely gift package of local specialties. For breakfast, Ben’s mother prepared a rich and delicious traditional meal, and for our train trip she even packed homemade bread for us to take along! Datong is a charming city, and if you visit, you absolutely have to stay here!!!

環境はとても良く、静かで清潔です。すぐ外にジムがあり、運動を楽しみたい方に最適です。ホテルのスタッフはとても親切で、サービスも素晴らしいです。上記は娘のレビューですが、娘もとても気に入っていました。以下は私のレビューです。1. 立地が素晴らしいです。ホテルは実際に古都の中にあり、観光スポットやレストランまで数百メートル以内、徒歩圏内であれば数百メートル、長くても1,000メートル強です。2. 設備は素晴らしく、内装もとても素敵で高級感があります。3. サービスは素晴らしいです。スタッフはとても親切です。さらに、チェックイン後には専属のバトラーサービスがあるので、何か必要なことや質問があればいつでも連絡できます。

My husband and I are a couple from Germany. We booked two nights there, and our decision was absolutely the right one. From the initial contact (via the WeChat app, which is essential for your entire trip to China) to our departure, everything was perfect. We were picked up from the train station by car and taken to the hotel free of charge. This is especially good for Western tourists who don't speak Chinese. The first problem would have been explaining to the taxi where we wanted to go. The lobby and rooms are very beautiful, stylish, and equipped with the highest technology. Most of the guest rooms face the inner courtyard, so you can sleep very quietly and comfortably. The beds are very large and comfortable. The hotel's location is excellent. It's located on the northern edge of the Ancient City of Datong, just a few minutes' walk from the tourist attractions and the colorful and lively old town. So you can enjoy it without being disturbed by noise. I would especially like to emphasize the friendliness of the staff. Unfortunately, we don't speak Chinese, and the staff didn't speak English, but with the help of modern communication tools (language apps), we understood each other perfectly. Every request was fulfilled. There's even the option to use a washing machine in the basement of the hotel. This is especially fantastic for tourists on longer trips to China, as it allows for easy laundry. If you ever come back to China, we will definitely book this hotel again.

The host and the team were genuinely welcoming and accommodating. They exerted every effort to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible. The property have undergone a complete refurbishment. Our accommodation is a family suite featuring a courtyard and a penthouse, providing a dedicated area for children. Breakfast is served homemade style, offering local noodles or dumplings, or Western options, all prepared by the owner or the team. Nevertheless, it is necessary to liaise with the team regarding your arrival or departure arrangements, as traffic restrictions occasionally prevent vehicle access directly to the hotel entrance during certain limited hours.

We took a 23-day trip through China, staying in 9 different hotels. Without hesitation, I can say that our stay at Floral stood out in many ways. First, the hotel's structure is very beautiful and has been renovated while staying true to the traditional style of the region. The hotel room itself was probably the most beautiful we had seen on our entire trip: spacious, with windows that actually opened, good air conditioning, and modern decor and furniture without being over the top. Second, the hotel's location is within the boundaries of the city wall and is part of the old town, so beautiful to walk around and see the traditional houses - many of them renovated according to the traditional style. And third and most importantly, the kindness of the people who work at the hotel. I have never felt so welcome anywhere on holiday as at this place. Unfortunately, I arrived with health problems and needed antibiotics - equivalents of the ones I had brought from Europe. I asked the reception where I could find the closest pharmacy, but rather than guiding me there, Xiao Liu, the lady at the reception, figured out for me which antibiotic would be the right one and got it for me. The same when we needed a suitcase, rather than sending me to the shop she inquired about our desired suitcase and in one hour it was there. Drinks are complementary at any time of the day, and the breakfast (Chinese and international - sandwiches) was generous and unlimited. When we were running late coming back from the grottoes and needed to catch a train, Xiao Liu helped us out by bringing us all our suitcases directly to the train station. We will never forget all these acts of kindness and we are still grateful to her and the entire hotel staff for making us feel so much at home. Datong will stay in our minds and hearts forever thanks to the people of the Floral hotel. Datong is special enough for all the incredible cultural sights you can visit - but our stay there will never be forgotten thanks to the beauty of the Floral Hotel and its amazing people. 1. 場所は良いです。向かいには小さなお店、コンビニエンスマーケット、スーパーマーケット、薬局があります。 2. 有名なカイ ゲーとヘ ラオ ラオはどちらも 1 km 以内にあり、カイ ゲーは向かい側にあり、5 分でアクセスできます。 3. スイートがあり、お年寄りや子供連れの旅行にとても便利で、世話ができます。 4. サービススタッフはとても熱心です 5階と6階にはお子様が遊べる滑り台があります 6. 清潔で衛生的、遮音性も良好
