I was so excited to stay here: stunning views; spa; treatments; gorgeous fresh seafood; a dip in the fjord; short drive from Bergen; and activities. In short: inside minimalist, attractive and well laid out.. Rooms very clean and minimalist, And now comes the but - lots furniture left lying under stairs, - lots of cleaning trolleys all day, - Side lights in bedroom that have bulbs that don't work - big Bluebottle flies in bedroom if open window - heating kept at 23 and no-one knows how to turn it down even when asked every day. - treatments are only available between Thursday- Sunday not the rest of the week not one person told me - when I did book a treatment they lied! Told me they were busy. I was only told last day of visit the times and days - receptionists in particular did nothing to help: I asked for guidance as to suggestions of where to go, where they would recommend, booking treatments.. even to where my room was.. absolutely zero helped. Luckily I am a well travelled lady and can work things out.. there were times I wanted to cry with frustration. Food not worth mentioning. So in short this could be a fabulous place.. it needs staff who care, are well trained and managed better.. they are all lovely people who could with good management be fabulous

The night before the New Year started with a big Buffet full with amazing food and drinks, tasty Salmon and very friendly people whom served us well and made us feel comfortable. The Barman’s Cocktails were delicious and the Fireworks could be seen in a Panorama view. Live music and a comfy chair at a well decorated table with some nice friends and good food! A perfect place to spend New Year! Greetings to all Team members whom made us feel welcome!

Panorama Hotell is a great resort to enjoy the time and relax! The hotel is very clean, calm and the staff always kind. Breakfast is amazing, specially regarding the quality of the food served. :) But what surprised us was the dinner with the plates served. Everyone should try the king prawn as appetizer! The accomodation is really good as we stayed in one of the cabins with jacuzzi. Water inside was always warm not wishing to get out of it! :) The only thing that frustrated me during this stay was the quality of the bed. Not mentioning the bed itself, but it is such an expensive hotel daily rate and when you see the bed, it is supposed to be a queen size bed, but in fact it is two single beds joined as if it is a queen size one. For a couple night I would never recommend to someone else!
