I average 200+ nights a year in a Marriott. The Aloft brand in general has become my new favorite stay. Clean, modern, without the velvet stuffiness of a full service Marriott. In particular the Aloft North Dulles is outstanding. I was having a nearby party and we had 12 couples staying there. They were helpful, friendly, and most importantly competent. The desk, event, and housekeeping staff were each great. Coincidentally, I ran into a Marriott executive on a flight the next day and she asked me for my most recent favorite property. It was an easy choice, the Aloft North Dulles.
The location is convenient to the airport. The front desk was extremely accommodating to my request of an early check in. Excellent breakfast. Housekeeping is tip top with an overall spotless room. The bed was firm and comfortable. Only negative: no golf channel!
Very great facilities and is wonderfully dog-friendly. The staff we very friendly and helpful throughout our week-long stay. The complimentary hot breakfast was a great way to start the day. Wi-Fi was also very strong and allowed us to be able to zoom without issues.
