The room smelled and wifi kept going out

I would stay there again for sure! Everything about it was great including a wide range of breakfast items.

We found this hotel very tired and dated. It was reasonably clean but alot of damaged walls in our room. We usually stay in Dunedin for the Blue Jay Spring Training but decided to try Tarpon Springs to check out the area. We don't think we were in a very good area. Police were at our hotel a couple times. Also there was a guy in the pool area that went off on a tangent about immigrants...then calling us 'rich white trash'. It was very scary. It appears he was not a guest at the hotel but had just come in through the gates to use the facility. The whole week's experience just was not comfortable. I don't think we would stay in this area again.

Minutes after getting into the room a large cockroach ran from under the desk to under the bed. There were also fruit flies in the room. Definitely not clean. Toilet needed maintenance - we had to fix the string inside after each flush so it wouldn’t run all night. Pillows were cheap and very hard to get any sleep. Not the worst place but definitely not worth the money

Check-in was quick and efficient. Our room was large, clean and well appointed with soap, shampoo conditioner and other ammenities, and the bedding and bed was delightfully comfortable. Breakfast included hot items (eggs sausages and waffles) as well as other continental choices. The owner / manager (not sure), seems to care as I reviewed this hotel about a month ago and commented on the lack of hot items available for breakfast. In fact, I noticed that he came into the breakfast area to check on supplies available and guest satisfaction. Kudos to you, Tarpon Springs Quality Inn. You seem to really care about your customers!! We will definitely return.

The hotel was fine. Two complaints I have are: no fan in bathroom, and the patio was nice but people smoking next door made it so we couldn’t sit out there.

Pool was very nice. Room is old, tried to be updated but fell short. Floor had a weird film on it, always felt dirty. Sink in bathroom drained very slowly, shower was just ok, towels were small and thin.

There were two areas where this hotel fell short. One was maintaining the grounds. There were literally dozens of discarded cigarette butts in what might have once been a planter toward the back of the building. Also trash was piled up outside the lobby area near the pool entrance. The other deficiency regarded checkout. I recommended to the desk clerk that they hang a translucent curtain along with the blackout curtain in the room to afford an element of privacy while permitting light to come in. I even noted that there was already a second traverse rod in place, so all that was needed was the curtain. Rather than making a note of the suggestion, the clerk started giving all kinds of excuses about how it was out of the local hotel's power since this was controlled by the parent company, Choice. When I said that he could reference me when making the suggestion, not only didn't he write anything down, but he said I would need to be the one to make the suggestion directly to Choice. I hardly view this as "Quality" service. I should note that the desk clerk on duty when I checked in was fine. Checkin was efficient and without problems.
