I would never stay in this hotel or city again; it went from bad to worse within minutes. We arrived at our hotel at 7am as our flight was delayed so got there a little later than expected, we went to the front desk where the man did not even acknowledge us for 10 minutes to be then told they cancelled our room as we were a no show. We told them our flight was delayed and the site says check in at any time. He then made us go to another hotel which he told us was a 3-minute taxi journey away and said he would pay for the taxi. We finally got a taxi after waiting another 30 minutes, and it was over 10 minutes away. When we got to the other hotel the receptionist told us we need to pay for the hotel and the taxi for all 3 of us which never got told to us by the first hotel. We had all inclusive booked and got told we would have the same at this hotel but never got told that I would have to pay almost £300 more when I got to the other hotel even though our hotel was paid for months ago. I just paid for 1 standard night with no extras as this was very expensive and we should not have had to do this anyway as this was paid for. So, I had to pay for the room to then go to a third hotel across the road, which we were also never got told about until after we paid for the hotel. Every person we met at all 3 hotels were rude, abrupt and there was no communication at all. We finally got into out hotel room at 9am after being up all day working, for then a flight to be delayed and then to this happening. We had to pay extra for the spa even though we got told this was included in the hotel. We had to leave our passports with the receptionist at the third hotel, when we went to leave, we had to remind her that she had our passports and then when we asked for them, they were in an unlocked cupboard behind her where anyone could access. She also tried to charge us for breakfast again even though we paid for that the morning before, oh and you had to go across to the other hotel to have breakfast and use the spa. I travel a lot and have never had this happen. I have tried to get in touch with the hotel since then and they just ignore my emails and messages so nothing gets resolved.
