ザ プディクーム ハウス(Puddicombe House)

My husband and I recently celebrated our 10th Wedding Anniversary at Puddicombe House. Our special dinner for 15 guests exceeded our expectations. Our dishes were amazing, beautifully served and delicious. Our guests commented that what was served, was "art on the plate". Our servers - Nicky and Jill were fantastic...very attentive, efficient, pleasant and helpful. Arranging all the event details with Nick (the Manager) was effortless. Nick was very helpful, professional and understanding. Thank you so much the all the Puddicombe House staff who helped us organize our special event,. The main facility is very nice. A Classic old home in southern Ontario. We stayed in one of the “cottages” associated with the main house. Very cold on arrival but better once heat turned on. Not enough towels or coffee supplies in the room. The pull out bed was well past it’s prime making for a very uncomfortable sleep. We were three adults in the room. In the morning we went to get our breakfast at the main inn only to discover that ******* clients don’t get breakfast at this bed and breakfast. Rather than spend the extra 100 for breakfast which would have been on top of the 452 already spent for one night, we decided to leave and get breakfast elsewhere. Made for an unpleasant start to our Sunday morning.

Beautiful home. Friendly and courteous staff. Great area. Delicious food. Definitely staying here again.

Walk back in time in this Heritage hotel! Friendly staff and very clean. Many eating options close by as well!

Beautiful spot in an unexpected location. The room we were seated in was beautifully appointed with white marble tables and green velvet chairs. Very sophisticated. It was very quiet. So quiet that it made conversation slightly uncomfortable. The room across the hall was cozier looking, had more activity (courtesy of the bar likely) and seemed more lively. The servers, though mostly quite young, were exceptionally professional. Very impressive. We had a casual meal with a salad and handhelds. The pear salad was delicious though I would have enjoyed more pear and more goatcheese. The italian burger was very good. It is messy though, so beware and lean over the plate. But really nice balance flavours and very delicious. The fried chicken sandwich was an entire chicken breast. The sticky and sweet sauce was very flavourful. The seasoned fries that accompanied both sandwiches were tasty and addictive but overly salty. At first I couldn't stop eating them and then I had to. Noticed the starters of diners around us, a delish looking plate of calamari and a daily soup that was getting rave reviews. In the end a solid meal in a beautiful environment. Next time I would try to get a seat in the other room and try the more elevated food offerings. Will return!

Everything was exceptional! From the quaint front room with the bay window and fireplace, to our friendly and attentive server Kara. We had a deliscious meal from start to finish Don't think twice about visiting Puddicombe.... it will not disappoint!!

Lovely place and room; feels like a family business (it is) without conveniences of latest electronic conveniences (e.g. USB chargers; limited outlets) and service. (We had to ask for help for bags to be carried to room.) Bed quite high. No night table on each side and no dresser for unpacking. No bottled water provided. Good breakfast but narrow time window and choices. Good restaurant for dinner. Quiet town and region. We stayed her to go to Stratford 20 minutes away.

My wife and I hosted a dinner for 31 family members to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We had a private room by the bar that fit our group well. The service and food were exemplary. A big thank you to Nick and the entire team at Puddicombe House!
