Very well equipped cabin. The spa bath and BBQ were excellent. Waking up to that view is amazing. Very relaxing stay. A wallaby jumped onto the verandah too and we also saw a goanna. Maleny is a short drive away and has everything you need. Also recommend nearby waterfalls and Bird World.

Fantastic cottage, Tallowood! All we needed for a relaxing 3 day break away for Christmas. Angela and Glenn were great at communicating with us about check in and check out. It was great to sit on the deck and be serenaded by the cicadas and frogs but not hear a single car, in fact the cottage was so private you really didn't know there were other people around, well apart from the distant Hee-Haw of some hungry donkeys, but a few carrots soon settled them !! The kitchen and BBQ can cater for most family cooks,cordon bleu dining is mostly out of the question, but stock up at the Maleny Butcher, and your sorted.

We had a lovely stay at Tallowood cabin at Whispering Valley Cottage Retreat. The beds were very comfortable and we melted into them. The deck was our favourite place and loved listening to the frogs, birds etc. Not a single traffic sound to be heard. The cabin had everything you would need. We opted for a breakfast tray which had oodles of food, plenty to last two breakfasts for two people. Quality was excellent. Communication with the owners was spot on, just enough and also they offered much appreciated directions to access the site which is (wonderfully) tucked out of the way. In terms of phone reception, we had Optus mobile access the whole time which was unfortunately needed as we were managing a contract of sale on our home....but also handy for scoping things to do for each day of our stay. Very much enjoyed this accommodation and would stay again in a heartbeat. Prices were also very reasonable.

Very basic cottage. The owners might as well forget about the dvds. The choice is so limited. The uneven terrain around the cottages made it very difficult to go for walks. Not that the walks would have been interesting anyway since they are so limited. At some point we thought of going through the main path that seemed to lead to the owners’ property as we were looking for the donkeys and a car went past spewing out dirty fumes! The poor donkeys didn’t look too healthy in their enclosure either.

Log fire, serenity, everthing you need for a great stay. Easy check in, and instructions. Secluded cabins and an easy drive to tourist attractions Full cooking facilities, large fridge, microwave and coffee machine. Very comfortable cabins and far enough away from each other to make it a personal experience.

First time here. It was a beautiful experience. Nothing else to describe the place really. Breathtaking, quiet, peaceful, and you are left to your world when you stay at the cottages. Amazing time myself, and my partner had, and we cannot wait to come back! Thank you :-)
