Sunday lunch today. Main course roast very good with large portion. Let down with the dessert Chocolate brownie sundae, which consisted of a couple of pieces of brownie and two scoops of vanilla ice cream. No chocolate ice cream, no cream, no sauce, no biscuit or wafer, no sprinkles or garnish of any description. But omg what really let the day down, the staff whilst friendly and helpful really need a uniform or at least a standard to work to. For an establishment with 2 AA rosettes to see staff in black jeans, shorts and trainers is beyond belief.

Great hotel with a lovely a**osphere. Hard working staff always willing to help and making sure u have everything u need. Rooms are impeccably clean. Fabulous location , delicious food and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to come to Isle of White !

Absolutely fantastic accommodation, beautiful food with 5 star service! Every single staff member is happy and very helpful, the location is perfect and easy to get to. Our stay was so perfect we booked an additional night. We would highly recommend to anyone who is coming to stay on the island that the Sea view hotel is the place to be!

Had a great mid week meal in the pump bar. Two of us had chicken dopiaza with popudums and the other with fish and chips. All lovely. Desserts followed which was an apple and blackberry crumble, lemon and lime tart with coconut sorbet and a vanilla Panna cotta with shortbread. All very delicious. Service was friendly and professional.

We had a meal last night in the back bar invited by friends which made it difficult for me to voice my displeasure with the serving of my Chicken Roulade - offered by the rosette awarded kitchen it was dry and crisp on the outside overwhelmed by the stuffing and if it was taste tested in the kitchen then that makes it even more of a disappoin**ent. 2 of the sweets were uninspiring to say the least, they being the white chocolate plate and the seaview sunday. It maybe a good idea to revisit these offerings before other diners reach the same conclusions or was it just the standard to expect mid-week. The service was attentive and engaging only let down by what came out of the kitchen for part of what was served.

Warm welcome on arrival, quick and efficient service, Sunday lunch was exceptionally good, waiter was very knowledgable when asked about certain drinks, could not fault anything, would highly recommend and will return. Thank you ta all the staff.

Lovely food and great service from Gabby at the Seaview Hotel last night. For mains we tried two of the specials, lamb loin and cod loin which looked and tasted of summer and oh so so light the fish melted in my mouth, it was a delight! The deserts were also good. Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant, can’t wait to return to try more of their dishes, new menu out soon too. Yummy!! 😋

Decided to take impromptu trip to the Isle of Wight. Tom managed to fit us in for Sunday lunch despite it being Mother's Day. Impeccable service by Jake. Good food, we shared 2 starters & 2 mains (roasts & trimmings). Couldn't have been better

We booked a 3 night stay and ended up booking a 4th! This was a special occasion for us, my husband's birthday plus our wedding anniversary . The room was beautifully decorated and clean,all the staff were so lovely and went that extra mile to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was seriously good, the full English comprehensive and tasty. My personal favourite was the avocado, tomato with poached eggs, outstanding!! A special mention to Phillipa, you are an asset to the hotel, you made us feel at home. It's a 4 star thank you from us , we shall be recommending and look forward to booking again!😊
