Not what I expected, arriving its beautiful and grand i was expected the same from all of the staff but this was not the case I found some of them to be unwelcoming and unhelpful When I arrived with all my bags and my wedding dress I didn't get any offer of assistance or any direction as to We're my room was . The lady behind the reception was not profession stood biting her nails why another women sorted my room As she stated she didn't no what she was doing. I got to my room after clambering past 5 builders /dust and tools everywhere To find they had located me in the wrong room . To be honest the builders was Lovley and helped me with my bags . I had a nock at the door am not sure if she was the manager but she was probably the most helpful member of staff I saw that day She helped me pack my bags and carry to my new room New room was Lovely and grand apart from dead wasps along the window She was realy nice and got me fresh water and a fan . So at the meal we was not informed to how it works and we just turned up at the restaurant and was told we had to book so we looked at the menu and went back to the room and tried to ring to book 30 mins we tryed and no one was answering so we gave up and went back down to be greeted by the most unapproachable man we ever Met He did not acknowledge us until I said excuse me when we was clearly standing there lookin in his direct at the reception It was as if we had asked for the world In the end we refused to eat in there and went out for tea But as we had paid for tea with room We ordered desserts when we got back Praise has got to be given to the food as the breakfast and dessert we had was realy nice Just massively let down by the lack of effort made by staff on arrival My card also didn't work 3 times and I had to come back several times as it was my wedding day I was gettin a bit annoyed at this point but no one seemed to be realy bothered I was told if it happened again just find a cleaner on the landing I wouldn't recommend people staying if they want to feel waited on because the price does not correspond with the service
