どうしても、コルカタ到着の便は深夜になってしまうので、空港近くのホテルを探してました。前に泊まったホリデイ・インの方と比べると部屋は少し劣るのかなと思いますが、逆に飛行機の音含めて、こちらの方が静かで良かったです。

Hotel was clean and beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Ms. Kusum was very kind and professional and even changed the room according to our need. Breakfast was with good spread as usual for JW standards. Only setback, too many guests. Crowded during breakfast and lobbies were filled with people due to weddings and events. Otherwise service, amenities and pool areas were all lovely. Satisfied, No regrets

フェアフィールドバイマリオットコルカタに滞在するのはこれが 2 回目で、すべてのフロントで優れたサービスを提供していたため、再びここに滞在することにしました。ビスワスが率いるレストランのスタッフはいつも素晴らしく、他のコルカタホテルに泊まったことがあり、ここの食べ物のオプションがはるかに優れているとも言います。フロントスタッフもフレンドリーで親切です。次回もここに滞在することを選択します。

We stayed one night in Vivanta Kolkata (30th night). It was a nice and wonderful experience. Room was very comfortable, food in the restaurant was excellent. As a South Indian, I was surprised to get very good tasting curd rice in the restaurant. Kudos to the chef and the restaurant. Front desk staff were very pleasant and they gave good guidance to my wife on where to make sari purchases. All in all, a lovely experience that i definitely would love to repeat!

部屋は大丈夫でしたが、ベッドから見た瞬間、あちこちに黒い長い髪があり、ベッドシーツの中を見ると、髪がもっとあったので、すぐにこれらのベッドがきれいではないと思いました。ホテルの経営陣は、場所のカテゴリや基準について多くのことを言うので、この詳細に注意を払う必要があります。もう1つのことは、トイレットペーパーが掃除されていないことです。別のものを頼まなければなりませんでした。最高の経験は、5つ星以上の価値があるガーディアンでした。彼は気配りがあり、非常に丁寧で、常にドア、バッグを手伝い、いくつかの質問に答える準備ができていました。

SSS05*Review: One-Night Stay at Kenilworth Hotel, Kolkata* I recently stayed for one night at the Kenilworth Hotel in Kolkata and would rate my overall experience as a 6 out of 10. The hotel has a lot going for it, especially in terms of its location and general ambiance, but there are also a few aspects that could use improvement. To begin with the positives, the hotel is situated in a very convenient and well-connected area. Being close to central Kolkata, it’s easy to access various parts of the city, whether for business or leisure. The immediate surroundings are pleasant and relatively peaceful, which added to the comfort of the stay. The room provided was decent—clean, well-organized, and equipped with the expected amenities for a four-star property. The bed was comfortable, and the room had adequate lighting and storage space. The bathroom was functional and clean, although not particularly luxurious. In terms of comfort and upkeep, the room met my expectations. One feature I particularly appreciated was the hotel’s gym facility. It was clean, well-maintained, and had a decent range of equipment for a quick workout. GgerardVery friendly staff and good location. Although 3 stars is a bit high. It is rather 2,5 stars. Breakfast was a good start of the day, continental and Indian. Room was small and old, ac noisy. But who cares; you don’t go to Kolkata to stay in your room. On the roof was a terrace where you can eat and drink. All in all great stay. Will definitely come back next time

JJason2023Good location for tourist spots but quite noisy if you don't like the constant noise of beeping horns from the nearby road (not sure if it is even possible to escape this in India). It did get better between say 10.30pm and 8am). The train (immediately outside the hotel entrance) screeches by but not frequently, boat engines can be heard in the distance but it's on a river 😅. It was a bit of a party boat on some nights (loud and late disco noise if there is an event). The noise stopped at around 9pm one night but went on much later on another night; if your room is close to the bar it may be an issue was wasn't too bad for me as i use ear plugs. The most irritating noise, believe it or not, is people shouting or having loud conversations in the corridors. The room is 3* and there is no safe for your passport, cash, cards etc. The pillows, bed covers and floors were't cleaned particularly well. I had to help myself to consumables from the corridor as they weren't topped up by cleaners. Anyway, a very brief stay could be a good experience, one night maybe.I am pleased to have had the experience and despite the shortfalls would probably recommend it as a one off unique experience, for one or two nights. The breakfast was very good with lovely river views and a chill atmosphere.
