After completing my booking, I contacted the hotel to request a waterfront room. I was fortunate that one was still available, and I truly appreciate the hotel’s effort in accommodating my request. The ocean view from the room just stunning. Although the room is not very large, it is exceptionally well equipped-including a multicooker and a washing machine, which makes it very convenient for longer stays. A hairdryer is not provided in the room, but it is available upon request. The location is excellent: the port and a well-known Portuguese restaurant are within walking distance. The neighborhood itself feels safe and pleasant. Overall, a very good stay.

The place is simply beautiful. However it speaks in volume where the service level is concerned  We had an issue with our local Namibian guide where our trip was potentially in jeopardy with our rental car being withdrawn due to the latter’s mistake  The hotel manager, Johnny was awesome in helping us to resolve the issue and the service crew, Jessica, Ruby and Moses exhibited such care and concern that our flailing confidence in Namibians was restored  We applaud Gondwana canyon resort for having such a great crew and look forward to a visit again in the near future

This lodge is an absolute delight with its super friendly and welcoming staff—pure magic! Oryx wandering the grounds add that wild Namibian charm, and the hobbit style cabins are insanely cute and cozy. The jaw-dropping park views, and the canyon activity was epic—stunning, thrilling, and totally unforgettable. Highly recommend this lodge!

Das ganze Ambiente, einfach super! Alle Leute freundlich und entspannt, kein Stress am Heilig Abend 👍 Zimmer sehr schön und sauber Können wir sehr empfehlen um sich die Gegend um den Fisch River Canyon anzuschauen

Лодж хороший, расположение удачное, горячая вода в душе. Но. Видимо, не совсем сезон в августе, было очень холодно вечерами и безумно холодно. Никакого отопительного прибора не дали. Завтраки были очень простые. Наверное, когда другой сезон, более внимательное отношение к гостям. Но нам было безумно холодно, не вернёмся.

Das Eagle’s Nest Chalet war eine unserer liebsten Unterkünfte in ganz Namibia. Das kleine Cottage, in dem wir waren, war wirklich wunderschön und die Küche hervorragend ausgestattet, sodass man sich rundum wohlfühlen kann. Natürlich ist es etwas rustikal, aber das passt perfekt zur Umgebung. Besonders zu empfehlen ist das Grillen am Abend – das Hotel stellt Braai Platte und Holz zur Verfügung und wir haben es an zwei Abenden genossen. Der Sonnenuntergang und der Sternenhimmel sind einfach atemberaubend – so etwas haben wir noch nie zuvor gesehen. Am einem Morgen bekamen wir Besuch von den Wildpferden und Pavianen. Absolut empfehlenswerte Unterkunft für Naturliebhaber!
