I had a wonderful experience staying at Funky Monkey Hotel Hostel and Apartment in Thamel, Kathmandu. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The location is absolutely fantastic—right in the heart of Thamel, with restaurants, cafés, shops, bars, nightlife, and everything you need just a short walk away. At the same time, the property itself has a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, which made it a great place to come back to after exploring Kathmandu. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The bed was comfortable, the room had good Wi-Fi and air conditioning, and having a private bathroom was very convenient. Everything was arranged in a simple but practical way, making the room feel like a good place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing. What really made my stay special was the staff and hospitality. Everyone was friendly, polite, welcoming, and always ready to help whenever I needed something. They greeted me with a smile and made me feel more like a welcomed guest than just another customer. Their helpful attitude and warm Nepali hospitality made a big difference to my overall experience. I also really enjoyed the rooftop area. It is a great place to sit, relax, have a drink, meet other travelers, and enjoy the lively atmosphere of Thamel. If you are traveling alone, with friends, or as a couple, I think the rooftop is one of the nicest places to spend some time in the evening. Another thing I appreciated was the overall value for money. You get a great location, comfortable accommodation, helpful staff, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a welcoming atmosphere without paying luxury-hotel prices. For travelers who want to explore Kathmandu and stay somewhere convenient, comfortable, and social, this is a very good choice. I would definitely recommend Funky Monkey Hotel Hostel and Apartment to anyone visiting Kathmandu, especially backpackers, couples, solo travelers, families, and people looking for a convenient place to stay in Thamel. Experiencia decepcionante para un hotel de esta categoría Comentario: Nuestra experiencia no fue la esperada. El desayuno picnic fue muy escaso: solo incluía un zumo, una magdalena y pan sin nada. Además, nos llamaron a las 2:30 de la madrugada para preguntar de qué queríamos el zumo del picnic, algo totalmente inaceptable. La limpieza de habitaciones se realizaba sobre las 17:00 h, cuando lo habitual es que se haga por la mañana mientras los huéspedes están fuera. Esto resultó bastante incómodo. La media pensión tampoco fue clara: ofrecían menús distintos según fuera comida o cena, y el personal no sabía qué platos estaban incluidos. En una ocasión nos cobraron el postre de la cena, cuando el día anterior en la comida no se había hecho, sin haberlo comunicado previamente. La ultima noche decidimos no cenar por la incomodidad de lo sucedido. Tampoco aplicaron el 20% de descuento del room service que corresponde a los huéspedes alojados. Por último, un camarero se quedó con el cambio al pagar en efectivo. No tenemos problema en dejar propina, pero es cuestión de educación devolver el cambio y dejar que el cliente decida cuánto dejar. En general, faltó organización y atención al detalle, algo que debería cuidarse mucho más en un alojamiento de este nivel.

VERY GOOD STAFF AND KIND BEST PLACE TO STAY IN CITY

2泊しましたが、女性一人旅の私には安全とは思えませんでした。最初の夜11時頃、3、4人の男たちが叫んだり笑ったりしながらドアをノックしてきました。怖くなって受付に電話しました。電話線が電話機に接続されておらず、話すときは電話機をしっかりと握っていなければなりませんでした。恐ろしい経験でした。緊急時には電話さえも使えませんでした！受付係が男たちが落ち着くまで30分もかかりました。翌朝、受付係は男たちが立ち去ったと私に話しましたが、夕方、ホテルで彼らを見ました。安全だとは感じませんでした。また、男たちは大声で叫んでいました。それでも私はそこで眠ることができず、滞在した2晩ずっと目が覚めていて、安全だとは感じませんでした。場所は清潔でした。立地は良かったです。

サービスは本当に素晴らしかったです！スタッフが空港までのタクシーを手配してくれ、たった500ネパールルピーととても安かったです。ちなみに空港からホテルまでは1000ルピーかかりました。朝食はビュッフェスタイルで、フルーツや野菜、ゆで*、温かい牛乳などがあり、まあまあでした。ロケーションはタメル地区にあり、賑やかな場所ですが、騒がしくはありません。数歩歩けばヒマラヤンコーヒーショップチェーンがあり、買い物や食事にも便利です。

ホテル ヤラ ピーク – タメル地区の中心にある居心地の良い隠れ家 先日カトマンズを訪れた際、ホテル ヤラ ピークに宿泊しましたが、最高の滞在となりました。賑やかなタメル地区の静かな路地にひっそりと佇むこのホテルは、静けさと利便性の絶妙なバランスが魅力です。 客室：客室は清潔で快適、そして手入れが行き届いています。私の部屋からは中庭の素晴らしい景色が望め、ベッドは驚くほど柔らかでした。温水とWi-Fiも常に利用可能で、これは大きなプラスポイントです。 サービス：スタッフは本当に素晴らしかったです。フレンドリーでプロフェッショナル、そしていつも笑顔で親切に対応してくれました。空港送迎の手配、ツアーの手配、おすすめのレストランなど、あらゆる面で期待以上のサービスを提供してくれました。 立地：観光客にとって理想的なロケーションです。ショップ、レストラン、トレッキング用品店まで徒歩数分ですが、メインストリートからは程よく離れているため、静かで落ち着いた雰囲気を楽しめます。 価格：コストパフォーマンスに優れています。快適さや清潔さを損なうことなく、リーズナブルな料金設定となっています。 その他：トレッカー向けの荷物預かりサービスも提供しており、大変便利です。屋上テラスはゆったりとくつろげる素敵な空間です。 総合評価：一人旅、カップル、トレッカーに強くお勧めします。カトマンズで安全で清潔、そして手頃な価格で、温かいおもてなしを受けられる宿泊施設をお探しなら、ホテル・ヤラピークは最高の選択肢です。

このホテルで最悪の経験でした。ネパール到着後、カトマンズでの最初の宿泊地として、トレッキング中の荷物置き場として、そして出国前の最後の宿泊地として予約したのですが、荷物預かりサービスは一切なく、タグなども渡されませんでした。荷物を預けたいか尋ねると、フロントデスクの前に置いてほしいと言われました。2週間後、ホテルに戻ると、バッグはまだロビーのフロントデスクの前にありました。もちろん、荷物がなくなっていましたが、特に文句を言うほど価値のあるものはありませんでした。しかし、バッグを数フィート離れたクローゼットや保管スペースに移動させることさえしなかったという事実は、このホテルのやり方を物語っています。 ホテルを通して早朝の空港送迎を予約しようとしましたが、サービス料金に含まれていると記載されていました。何度も確認したにもかかわらず、何も手配されませんでした。午前5時15分に、運転手がいたという証拠すら提示されずに、いくら請求できるか交渉するゲームになってしまいました。結局諦めて、荷物を担いで通りまで行き、タクシーを拾いました。 ネパールは素晴らしい国です。このホテルは、最初から最後までひどい経験でした。部屋自体はまあまあで、無料の朝食は試しませんでしたが、ホテル内のレストランは雰囲気も食事もなかなか良かったです。地元の基準からすると安いホテルではありません。この価格帯なら、周辺にはもっとたくさんの選択肢があります。

立地よし。近くに似たランクのホテルが集まる場所で、競争もあるのか、値段以上のクオリティです。とりあえず1泊取って気に入ったので連泊しようと思ったのですが部屋が空いてなくて近所のホテルで移動しましたが従業員はツアーの要望など協力的で親切です。ホテルの写真を撮り忘れたのですが、ホテルでてすぐ左前のレストランが優秀だったので、その写真を貼り付けておきます。毎晩通いました。

Very spacious, clean, and comfortable room. The hotel is peaceful, with all the amenities you need. The location is convenient, close to the airport. It is affordable and offers great value for money. I had a nice stay and would recommend it to others.

C’est un superbe hôtel , l’emplacement est bon et c’est très calme . Ils sont très accueillants et souciants . J’ai été traité comme un roi . Juste que l’eau dans les toilettes sent pas bon du tout c’est le seul défaut de l’hôtel . Et aussi j’ai réclamé un changement de drap et couvertures le gérant m’a promis mais il l’a pas fait , j’ai du dormir 5 jours sur la même couverture
