Very clean, accommodating staff. If I could suggest anything, it would be that they would explain when asked about being pet friendly that they don’t allow pets to stay in the room while you’re not there and charge a $250 fine if you leave the room. We were confused because in other hotels that we stayed, we were allowed to leave the dogs. This makes it rather difficult when you arrive at the location and you’re an hour and a half away from your house that you have to now find a dog sitter or a dog daycare while you go out of your hotel room to me it defeats the purpose because I know I would’ve left them with the dog sitter at home either that or they clarify their stance on such issues like “do you have a dog here well as long as he stays quiet, it’s OK“ something to that effect.
We stayed 1 night for our trip to enjoy the Maine’s lobster. This hotel is located at the old port area where is easily walking to restaurants and pier. Nice, clean and good service!
Overall not bad for a basic stay. Staff were friendly and rooms are as expected.
Breakfast could be improved as the meats weren’t hot and pastries were quite stale.
EEmily Rose LThis hotel was overbooked so they moved us to the Marriott Residence instead, so this review is for this property.
The bedding and bed were very comfortable- high off the floor for kids but perfect for tall people like me. I liked the white linens and the pillow top mattress.
The shower was great and the toiletries were adequate. There were tons of towels and washcloths. I did not use the kitchenette but it seemed well appointed for quick needs- a full sized refrigerator, coffee maker with coffee and tea choices, dish towel, etc.
The sitting area and desk were nice touches- the furniture was a bit dated looking but clean and unmarked by stains or heavy wear.
The hotel was very quiet but included fifth floor parking in the nearby garage and proximity to lots of bars, restaurants, and shopping. Great location!

ゲゲストGreat parking, great location, lots to offer including resend shop. Was a clean room with excellent amenities at a very reasonable price. Will definitely book again....
ゲゲストBreakfast was great. We had a little maintenance issue with the room but the maintenance staff came right up to resolve our issue. Front desk girl was very professional and courteous. She was on the phone with what sounded like a previous guest who was clearly complaining about something regarding the sales tax and a reservation with the previous private owner prior to Quality Inn taking over. She handled herself very well, calm professional and respectful even though the person on the other end of the line was not reciprocating those same qualities. She got off the phone and helped me with a great smile and very attentive to my questions. Great job!!
KKathleen TrudelThis one has seen better days. A lot of maintenance issues that had gone unreported for a long time. Shower/bathtub would not drain at all. Washbasin was very slow. AC filter was in need of a good cleaning. A side door is supposed to be locked from the inside but stayed open and unsecured all night. This was just as expensive as a really well maintained Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Freeport. Your dog is welcome but it will cost you a 15$ fee. The breakfast was good and had options for a take out box. Location seemed very odd, and seems far from Bangor proper.
MMissThe older gentleman working at night is quite rude with his demeanour and gestures saying “good lord” in absolute disgust to us upon arrival. We weren’t the only ones offended by him while talking to other guests. I will definitely return as we loved the daytime staff and atmosphere other then his unfriendly welcome. Customer service is definitely not his high point. We all have bad days so I’ll give this place another chance since everyone and everything was perfect other than that.
