Clean motel. Easy check in with warm cookies upon arrival in the front office. Motel is older but well taken care of. The room was simple but as a traveler passing through Idaho Falls, the comfy bed and shower in the morning were all we needed. I noticed there was a microwave and mini fridge in our room but we didn't need it for this trip. I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again in the future.
The hotel served our purpose as a clean and quiet place to spend a restful night on our road trip. Room was well appointed and clean, staff was adequate.
BbandabacksThis hotel was so charming and just the thing we needed after a couple nights camping in Yellowstone without a shower. It felt amazing to come back to civilisation, and we were so delighted by the decor. There are lots of lovely little touches, like how they fold the towels and tissues. There were even folding chairs and a folding table so we could enjoy the outdoors. It was actually a straight shot from the road that goes between Yellowstone and the Tetons, but it's unpaved so it's quite an adventure. Only do it if you have a tough car. Otherwise go with the longer routes out of the Western entrance to Yellowstone is the southern entrance to the Tetons.

So the guest is then responsible to ask for extra towels or toilet paper. It only takes a minute to make sure the guest has enough towels & anything else.
ゲゲストThe gentleman that checked me in was friendly and calm! The whole system went down just as he started to get my reservation info. He was apologetic about it but I had no issue with it, as systems are not fail proof.
The breakfast was good, link sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy, fresh fruit, muffins, yogurt and three choices of fruit juice cocktails. Would rather have had just fruit juice, but people tend to drink it like there’s no tomorrow so I understand using a less expensive alternative.
The woman that prepared the breakfast checked it often to keep everything full.
ゲゲストThe problem was the price we paid on trip.com
was $60 dollars American more, then walking into the hotel and paying at the front desk
I went to trip.com to get a savings
And instead I paid $60 American dollars more than arriving at the hotel and paying at the front desk, without a reservation. It completely defeats the purpose of utilizing trip.com to save money on a motel. Better to go to the hotel site and see what they have to offer. I sent a message to trip.com and I never got a message back. I was hoping for some sort of compensation. Sincerely J.R
RRaceMom21The affordable price reflects the hotel’s desperate need for renovations. The first room we were given smelled strongly of stale cigarettes even though it’s marked as a non-smoking room. The second room smelled ok but the window was broken, the bathroom toilet & shower were chipped and stained, and the bed wasn’t super comfortable (just felt like an old mattress). The hallway carpets don’t look like they’re ever vacuumed. We didn’t take advantage of the breakfast but it appeared to offer waffles, juice, and some assorted muffins & fruit. The staff was nice.
ゲゲストThe sparrow was an amazing place to stay, there is a unique common area to play games or get work done in and also it is attached to a cool coffee shop. Ayla was absolutely incredible. Giving that it is downtown I was unfortunately woken up a couple times early in the morning due to a car alarm going off, but that was more so just what you get being downtown and not reflecting of the hotel itself which was wonderful. Hope to stay there again my next time in Boise.
