To the host:
Although R&F are closed to custom but the location are really inconvenient. By walking at least 20-30min even covered walkway. Less shop lot and local restaurant surrounding the stay.
Check-in instruction was unclear and mismatched the information with booking. Ultimately led me to wrong location and only found out there’s a mistake upon arrival. The network connection at the place are bad connectivity too. Spoiled the entire travel vibes by dragging the heavy luggage and caused inconvenience to traveller.
At the end only got sincere apologise by the host since they found the mistake upon arrival.
To Trip platform:
CS and duty manager lack of empathy. Robotic replies. Duty manager does not know how to write an apology letter and need me to teach how to storytelling and combine all info in one sentence. Just sent multiple messages to interrupt me in chat box . In order to resolve the issue they provided trip coin as compensation but less sincere attitude. Which I understand they only a worker not the boss.
Da location was good n convenient ,n da collection key counter office girl are friendly ,but da unit we stay cleaning was terrible ,alot of ants n da rubbish bin also never clear , even da towels ppl using still hanging inside the toilet 😂 ,n da toilet basin also never clean cos da ppl stay inside toilet colour their hair da paper n colour split unit da whole basin still there when we check in 😅😅
No doubt the place is very nicely done up with the plane and airport feels, has a very nice bathtub and a great view from the 'porch' area.
However, it is quite poorly maintained. The aircon was noisy and there are brown stains at the vents. The projecter doesnt work properly and the remote control seems faulty, streaming services do not work and it does not support casting. There are cockroaches found near kitchen area. The heater is intermittent with the hot water. The floor rag has stains.
Overall, the place will be great if the place is properly cleaned up.
I booked a standard king room for a 3 night stay. Upon arrival to the room, I noticed the floor was wet as though it had just been mopped. To my surprise, I was given 2 queen beds instead and used towels found in the cupboard.There was a stain on bedsheet. I had to place another bath mat to avoid the trip and fall due to the first mat suction being not strong enough. During the stay we were provided with a shower gel and no shampoo. The washing machine does not come with a dryer and you need to search for the detergent which was placed under the kitchen sink. A garment steamer and vacuum cleaner were provided in the room, very convenient .The utensils, pots and pans were displayed on the kitchen table top, it looked cluttered. I suggest that it should be placed in the cabinet provided when not in use. Overall the cleanliness is good. There's room for improvement. Thank you.
The apartment was serviced by Lions Bay, the office is near to the apartment. Instructions given to collect key was easy to follow and clear, packing near the office not as easy due to many cars parked along the side walk. The view was awesome. Very home feel. Tv set came with Netflix, great entertainment for the kids!
