うわー!!なんて素晴らしいホテルでしょう。停電の真ん中に到着し、丁寧でフレンドリーでプロフェッショナルなスタッフに会うために、状況を知らされ、無料のニップルで火のそばの席を提供しました。停電が回復するまで、状況を常に最新の状態に保ちました。混乱を考えると、スタッフは落ち着いていて、すべての食べ物はすぐに配達され、美味しかったです。部屋はとても上品に仕上げられ、設備が整っていて、きれいで、ベッドはとても快適で、部屋は凍結以下の夜に暖かかった。朝食は本当に良かったし、私たちはすべてのスタッフによってよく世話をされました。私たちが泊まった中で最も素敵なホテルの 1 つであり、The Melbreak を誰にでも100%お勧めします。みんなよくやった

環境：芝生と花に囲まれた英国の雰囲気がとても良く、特に朝食エリアはとてものんびりしています！
朝食：ホテルの朝食は金賞を受賞したこともあり、イングリッシュブレックファストに関しては、この10日間で食べた中で一番美味しくて濃厚です！
サービス: スタッフはとても熱心で、到着時に湖エリアのツアールートを紹介してくれました。中国では毎日バスタオルを交換することに慣れていますが、イギリスでは環境保護のために通常は交換しません。しかし、スタッフに提案した後、最終的に変更することができました。ありがとうございます。

湖のすぐそばで環境はとても良く、バスターミナルも隣接しています。古民家を改装したホテルなので遮音性は良くなく、カーペットも少し汚れています。ウェイターはとても親切で、荷物の運びを手伝ってくれます。ホテルに忘れ物を片付けるのを手伝ってください。

素晴らしい小さな旅館。ホニスターとバターメレのレイクディストリクトアクティビティの間に一泊しました。両方から車で約30分。アクティブな一日の後に涼むのに最適なバスセンスウェイト湖の向かいにあります。
私たちは楽しい部屋25に泊まりました! 4人家族に最適です。ピクニックベンチのある素敵な小さな共同庭園。簡単な駐車場。スタッフは素敵で、食べ物は素晴らしかったです!間違いなく戻ってきます!

この非常にアンティークで清潔なホテルで素晴らしい滞在!
駅のすぐそばにあり、ホテルの前にテスコエクスプレスがあるのでとても便利でした。
とても素敵で、無料のお茶/コーヒー、ホットチョコレート、小さなスナックもあります。
チェックイン時間より少し早くチェックインできるので、レセプションの柔軟性に本当に感謝しています。
階下のバーの食べ物も素敵でした。外に出る必要はありません。彼らは食べ物の選択が可能なバーを持っていました。
私たちがバローに来たら、間違いなくまたここに滞在します!

AAlanPBooked in for 1 night to have a rest in some luxurious surroundings after a lot of travelling around the country visiting friends. Hunday Manor is a beautiful old house in a fantastic spot on the side of a hill with a great view. The hotel is very well appointed and the rooms are well looked after. The quality of the food for both an evening meal and the cooked-to-order breakfast was excellent. Perhaps the only facility I would add is a few overnight EV charge points in the car park.
The service however was rather comical, starting with check-in. After confirming my name, 1 night stay, and printing out the reservation sheet, somehow the chap on reception muddled up my solo reservation with a couple arriving on the same day who were staying for a couple of weeks and gave me their room. After settling in for a much needed afternoon nap in the very comfortable bed and 'locking' the door on the inside, the rather startled couple walked in having been given a card for the same room. From that point on I never really managed to relax. I offered to move room when I went down for dinner later on, but the chap declined and mumbled something odd about the length of stay and seemed to point at the paperwork suggesting I had signed it making it my mistake! Sigh.
Things didn't get a lot better in the restaurant. Myself and another solo traveller were given tables at the back (by the same chap), seemingly to keep us out the way of the couples who arrived later and were seated at the windows. When either of us asked questions about the menu there was lack of understanding about the dishes.. I was then asked around half a dozen times by multiple staff if everything was ok. Meanwhile I could hear one of the couples quitely chatting about their room, no doubt the room I was in. Upon trying to put the bill on my room, the same chap from earlier left me at the bar with a card machine asking whether I wanted to add a tip.
At breakfast the next morning it continued. When I arrived the first breakfast room was full of tables needing clearing so I was given a table in the same area where I had dinner. This time given a table at the window but right in front of the only other guest, a lady already eating her breakfast. My table wasn't set so inexplicably the waiter clumsily took a second place-setting from her table while she was midway through eating! After dusting a few crumbs from one of the plates I enjoyed my breakfast. Towards the end of eating the staff were discussing how to rearrange the room for an event later in the day and started moving things around. After hearing the same couple from dinner asking to be told when their room was made available, cleaners were hanging around at the bottom of the stairs when I returned to the room. Nothing like a bit of a hurry up to finish breakfast and get out of your room to make you feel like a valued guest.
Upon check-out an apology and a chat but by then the damage was done. No offer to comp a drink (or dinne)r after making a mess of things either. It's a lovely hotel that could offer a real 5-star experience, but the service ended up more like an episode of Fawlty Towers and needs a bit of a rethink.
Next stop China.

ゲゲストRum Doodle, well it was our first time at The Lakes and it certainly won't be our last! The location was just right with being part way between Windermere town and Bowness and was walkable to both. There were plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in walking distance as well as lake Windermere itself.
We found Rum Doodle with ease and was greeted at the door with a smile and friendly man (the owner but didn't catch his name). We were bought a fresh glass of apple and orange juice to our room which was refreshing after a long drive to Windermere. Our room was comfy, not too big or too small, a wardrobe, seating in the bay window, hairdryer, hot drink making facilities, wine glasses with cork screw and bottle opener. Very modern, clean and well presented bathroom with soft and fluffy towels, and a really nice shower. The bed was very comfortable and welcomed after a busy day exploring the surrounding area.
Breakfast was really good with cereal, fresh fruit and yogurt, toast, and then a choice of breakfast which were great too.
We had a pleasant and informative chat at breakfast with the lady that works there who gave us the heads up on some driving routes to try and avoid which was really useful.
After a day out exploring we went back to Rum Doodle to a cleaned room and freshly made bed with the tea and coffee replenished, so we were able to just drop and the bed with a nice cuppa and biscuit. Then out for a walk, some lovely food and a couple of drinks.
We couldn't recommend The Lakes and Rum Doodle enough! Well worth every penny

ゲゲスト£200 for a basic room for one night was a bit on the pricey side for me, however it was nice all the same. A few of the photos of the basic room are misleading. The photos show a four post double bed which is not the case. We found out later this is actually an executive room despite it being labeled basic.
We found out that the hotel location is accessible by bus from Oxenholme train station (despite being told the opposite) and has a great view of beautiful fields. Food in the hotel is good but expensive... My eyes nearly popped out their sockets when I saw the £8.00 charge just for the tiniest amount of table bread. I'd say this was probably the reason the restaurant was empty despite being told we need to book a table due to its popularity. Swimming pool and steam room are average for the price.
Staff are friendly and changed our room to a double bed room free of charge after mistakenly putting us in a twin bedroom.

ゲゲスト「このホームステイに3泊しました。午後11時頃に到着しましたが、ホストのおじさんはまだとても暖かく迎えてくれました!!その夜、外のレイアウトにはあまり気づいていませんでしたが、翌朝、庭が絶対に美しいことがわかりました。
私たちは部屋No.3–ジャグジー、軽食、牛乳、ボトル入りの水を備えた非常に芸術的なクイーン/キングベッドルームに滞在しました。部屋のレイアウトは絶妙で、ホストがそれに多くの愛を入れたことを伝えることができます💝
朝食も美味しかったです!! –から選択するいくつかのセットオプションがあります。前日にホストに知らせてください。部屋には小さな冷蔵庫もあり、飲み物を保管できます。朝食には、パン、小さなスナック、オレンジジュースが含まれます。

私たちが食べた食べ物は美しく、スタッフはとてもフレンドリーで親切でした。部屋には必要なものがすべて揃っていて、とても快適でした。
私が持っている唯一の不満は、1泊あたり12ポンドの車を駐車することです。スパだけを使用している場合は問題ありませんが、ホテルに滞在してそこにお金を使うときは同意しません。 、私はこれが非常に残念であることがわかりました。

匿匿名ユーザーGreeted with a lukewarm warm reception upon arrival. No assistance offered to take the luggage to the room which was up three flights of stairs that got narrower towards the top. The breakfast server huffed and was visibly annoyed and upset when I dared to ask for a second coffee! I suggest that they invest in a coffee machine instead of serving single cup sized cafetières. The family room was a good size but had fairly low ceiling beams which were pointed out by 15 signs which made the room look more like a building site than a bedroom. No refrigerator in the room and the safe did not work. The location is around 6 miles from Keswick. Nice swimming pool but access via the door to the changing rooms does not work all of the time.

ゲゲストUpon arrival there was nobody at the front desk so I waited. The woman I was somewhat greated by was far from pleasant and didn’t seem like she wanted to be there at all. Nothing was explained and no information leaflet for me to read through in my own time. When given my room key I started walking through the lobby but couldn’t see any signs for my room number. Went back to the desk to ask where to go for my room and was told ‘just follow it round’.
Very unhelpful and unwelcoming, not sure this lady should be at the face of the hotel.
Plus side, room was beautiful and well kept/clean. I was also lake side so got to watch the sunrise with my morning cuppa. Very refreshing views.
