Marriott Titanium member but first stay at this brand. This is a great hotel. All the staff we encountered were courteous and helpful. The room was spacious and well-appointed. At first I was annoyed that there was only one USB port - at the desk under the TV, then I realized there were FOUR ports on the phone. I am a fan of the walk-in shower and attached large bottles of shower products. I LOVE the hydration stations that allowed me to fill my hydroflask with water and ice. There was one on our floor by the elevators and one in the fitness center. The fitness center was nice in as much as ALL the equipment machines were working...not a common experience for me. I only used the treadmill but they have nice ones with different programs and scenery. Room seemed well ventilated as well. Parking wasn't a problem. I decided to leave the vehicle outside and parked where I could see it from my window. No crazy noises or sketchy people outside during my stay. I was on the 7th floor with access to the pantry. This is heaven for me since free breakfasts are usually wasted on me. It was well stocked but mostly sweets and carbs which allowed me to indulge in popcorn and york peppermint patties. My only gripe is small and easily remedied... Attach more than one hook in the bathroom, especially if you're going to encourage people to reuse their towels. There was sufficient wall space next to the toiletries shelves for multiple hooks. All in all, looking forward to stays at this hotel and brand in the future.
I have a very difficult job and parent two special needs children. My mom and I started going away together to give me a few days of air. The Inn is the perfect place to feel like I have gotten away without travelling super far from home . The room and beds are so comfortable that I slept for 12 hours on my first two nights there. That is how worn out I was. The rooms are clean and have everything we needed (i.e. coffee machine, fridge, microwave, free wifi). The view of the marina and ocean breeze are superb. The staff are clearly committed to making sure its guests are well taken care of. I love the included breakfast. The Inn feels secluded in the best sense of the word. We have thought of staying at the ******. However, the tranquility of the Inn is more desired. Although we live just north of the border, our trips away are a gift and really leave us feeling like we ventured far further. We wouldn't stay any where else and will definitely be back.
Very misleading website. It is not luxious. The FULL kitchens do not have an oven only a 2 burner cook top. There is no housekeeping service at all and guests are expected to fill out a request form for towels, coffee, etc. These items will be left in a bag outside your door. This could be a concern due to the hotel welcoming ”subsidized” persons. Then there is a placard in the room providing a link to make it easy to tip the housekeeping staff! Had I known that I would be getting such a low level of service for a more than average hotel, I would have stayed elsewhere. The breakfast is so-so with very little variety for an extended stay hotel. There are no vending machines and the water that is available is an over priced off brand that can't be purchased with cash. Parking spots are skinny so that they can squeeze in more spots. This leaves about 4 inches on either side. Imagine trying to get into your car if another full sized vehicle is parked next to you. There is a methodone clinic nearby so those folks set up their begging position near the entrance each afternoon. Fortunately, there is security 24/7 to reduce vehcle vandalism. The one bright spot in my stay was ”Dinah” at the desk when I checked in. She is very pleasnt and helpful. The others that I encountered acted as though I was a bother.
