We came here to celebrate my birthday and I could not have had a better experience. Every member of staff is so kind and welcoming. Our room was exceptional and every detail had been thought of . The restaurant is so comfortable and the food delicious. You can walk the extensive grounds, swim in either of two pools and generally feel pampered. This hotel gives service with a capital ‘S’ and if you visit Menorca do consider a stay!

excellent agriturismo in Menorca, rooms very clean and very well made with a great design, very nice pools, super friendly and helpful staff, very good restaurant with great and local products . I highly recommend it for business or leisure.

Over the past 14 months, I worked with German and the Llucasaldent team to plan my daughter's 200-guest dream wedding which took place last weekend. Although German admitted it was the most demanding wedding ever held on the property - we used every corner for the ceremony, cocktail, horse-show, dinner, dancing and a pool party the next day; moved all the furniture around; and kept the party going for almost 24 hours - he never once said no to anything. To begin with, the property is stunning and lends itself perfectly to a large, elegant wedding, especially in June when the cactus is in bloom. Then our suppliers turned it into a wonderland: The florist dressed a tree in white flowers for the ceremony; the lighting team threaded fairy lights through the vines of the dining area and created a curtains of lights to make the dancing tent cosy; we built a bridge connecting the threshing circles to take advantage of the incredible view during the cocktail hour; and the AV team stratefically placed speakers for the musical entertainment throughout. Llucasaldentet, the little house, was perfect for the bridesmaids while the comfortable guest rooms satisfied our most demanding VIP guests. The staff responded to our every request with a smile, from room service to photocopies - at one point, even getting on their hands and knees to pick up silver confetti left by a previous wedding party! This attitude of doing everything possible to ensure the success of your event (German goes to bed fully clothed in case of an emergency) has sadly become less and less common these days - but not at Llucasaldent!

Absolutely everything about Llucasaldent Gran is high quality and understated class. The owners have thought about every little detail to make your stay relaxing, peaceful and enjoyable. The restaurant is excellent, the estate is beautiful - what more could you want? It worked perfectly for us on our first trip to the Island.

This Agroturismo hotel is part of a wider estate including a vineyard right in the hills in the center of the Minorca island. We understood the hotel was developed by the owners only a few years ago. The result is a superb achievement where the highest level of comfort is provided to guests - we stayed 4 nights in en-suite bedrooms located around the main swimming pool: elegant, extremely comfortable with large enjoyable bathrooms (the shower places are particularly well done), a private outside terrace in front of the pool side, and a living room inside with armchairs, sofa, low table, a wide TV screen, minibar, a desk, all made of elegant furniture. The air conditioning system is highly efficient, an important aspect in the peak of summer season this year… The owner and his wife run very efficiently this hotel and are very good and effective for helping their guests, offering the best service possible and recommending them various touristic suggestions. Buffet breakfasts are abundant and delicious. Dinner is served under the trees during summer, it’s a kind of outside dining rooms where tree leaves protect from sun and heat all day long, it’s very effective and superbly made and the food is excellent. The main waiter is amazingly efficient, helping the guests in every wish. There are also several large space carved in the stone like troglodyte rooms where one can watch TV, play the billard, table football, table tennis or cards, with a bar functioning on a honesty self service basis, whether at night or during the hot hours of the day… From the pool side as well as from the top of the mound in the innovative and inspiring arid garden made of cactus and greasy plants, one can embrace the view of the southern side countryside of Minorca island, with the sea in the back. At sunset or even at night, one can’t look away from that view. We very much enjoyed our stay in Lucassaldent and will probably come back.

We loved our stay at this Agroturismo. It is in a perfect location for visiting fabulous Menorca, just 15 minutes from the airport and Mahon and 30 minutes from Cituadella. It is clearly a labor of love for Germán and Cristina, the charming owners. They take great pride in what they have created and with good reason. It is a beautiful, relaxing place with only 12 or so rooms, 2 pools, a lovely restaurant, wine caves, vineyards, trails, free yoga classes…There are two other new boutique hotels close by which we checked out for dinner. Though lovely as well we were glad we were staying at Llucasaldent. First, because it is run by the local owners so the service is very personal and the advice about the island is excellent. ( Germán directed us to some beautiful less-known beaches and lent us an umbrella). Second, it is adults only. I love kids but it is a different experience when there are lots of kids by the pool and at the restaurant. Third, it is excellent value. We loved exploring Menorca which has so many places to discover and found Llucasaldent to be the perfect base.
