Just back from a 2 week stay in Nelia Gardens, we were all inclusive, now it's a very basic hotel, but you get what you pay for, our room was on the ground floor opposite the children's play area. The hotel is very close to the centre which is minutes away and also to beach and harbour The room was quite spacious with a large patio area, we had a cooker, kettle ,fridge and air con which was superb, the room was cleaned every day by a very pleasant girl who always had a big smile for you. A big shout out to the manager and his staff, on our first 2 days, we had 3 obnoxious and loud teenager girls next door to us, now I'm not an old fart but we felt we had to complain and he sorted it out in minutes. You get breakfast at Nelia Gardens and lunch at the Nelia Beach which is basically across the road on the next corner, breakfast was the usual stuff, sausage and bacon are yucky, the meals at Nelia Beach are top class My only complaint about Nelia Gardens is the bar, some of the staff are very unhelpful ,we didn't use it very much other than a quick drink at the end of our nightly walks, I went up on one Sunday to watch football and asked for a whisky and lemonade and I can assure you there was no whisky in it, I told the girl that as well, it fell on deaf ears, so I just drank the lager. Overall our stay was excellent except for the all inclusive whisky, would I go back, probably not, but someone who are unable to pay £4/5.000 for 2 people the big hotels, it's perfect

Recently returned after a lovely family holiday first time to Cyprus for all of us and weather did not disappoint. Hotel positives - very clean and modern with daily visits by the maids - reception staff very helpful providing extra pillows etc on request and able to give advice of the local area which was very central and ideal within walking distance of beaches, shops and nightlife - which was helpful due to the lack of entertainment at the hotel. Despite being advertised as having ‘regular evening entertainment’ this consisted of a background singer / duo on a Tuesday and Friday night. This did not cater to families who then had to resort to going out of the hotel to find alternative entertainment venues to suit a family - therefore not a particularly good use of the all inclusive package - which was a shame as the all inclusive drinks options was quite extensive compared to other places we have stayed offering a large range of cocktails, beers and spirits. During the day you had to be up pretty early to get a sun-bed in the pool area. The pool itself was lovely and warm which was an helpful as you were unable to leave children unsupervised due to the pool being all one depth. Unless you were over 5’7” you were unable stand up anywhere in the main pool therefore unable to play with the children - there is a very small seated / jacuzzi area at one end of the pool which got quite busy and an ankle deep raised area at one side but nothing in between for mid-age children or their under 5’7” parents! There is a very small children's pool with a slide however our youngest (5) preferred not to play in there due to the sheer capacity of children AND adults who took to sitting in there! Food - breakfast was as expected offering cereal, continental and cooked with the bonus of freshly made pancakes much to the delight of our children. Lunch - nice choices however we regularly ate from the snack bar as more accommodating for the family needs. Evening meals VERY repetitive with very little choice or variety for the children and even the adults becoming fed up after a few days ( thank goodness for mcdonalds which was literally next door) one very small improvement could be to offer ice cream as a dessert in the restaurant as other than fresh fruit there was nothing they would eat. While we would be unlikely to stay again with young children we would not rule out as returning as adults only holiday or much older children. Don’t want to end on a negative as we did enjoy our holiday and this was partly due to the stafff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome in particular bar staff Eleni, Anna- Marie and the lifeguard / barman/ waiter Pari who spoke to us regularly and interacted well with the children ( he needs a pay rise as never stopped morning noon or night 😂)

The hotel has a really lovely atmosphere. Tranquil and relaxing. We chose this hotel due to the lounge area near the pool and bar as we prefer to sit in a chill environment opposed to a hotel with entertainment. On arrival we were shown our room. There was two paper bags each with a sandwich, apple and a carton of juice. This was a nice touch, but have had better in other hotels. The room was dated, as other guests have said. There was a funny, chemical smell in our room, the wooden furniture was blown from the condensation and the bath really needs to be replaced with a shower. Air-conditioning worked well and rooms were cleaned to an acceptable standard daily. Only niggles were the balcony was not swept so sand from the beach was there for our entire stay and mirrors were not wiped down. Our first night was peaceful, but the following night and then for the next four nights we had some very load neighbourhoods who were next to us and directly opposite. They were going out at 2am shouting and coming back crashing furniture, being sick, shouting and on one evening howling like wolves. I reported this to guest relations on the first night who took the room numbers but nothing changed. Luckily they went home after the fourth night and we just slept in the sun bed through the day. We were all inclusive and cannot complain about the quality of the food and drinks. The three restaurants were absolutely amazing, Peeper bar being our favourite. In the hotel the cocktails were superb, however, the service was slow and took us a while to change from the quick service expected in the UK to the chilled environment of the Soma Lounge. We did feel that guests who were paying received a better service than those who were all inclusive. They were served quicker, more frequently and with a more friendly manner. I found this annoying as we were still paying, but we had just prepaid. It felt like the staff had the opinion that we were not worthy of the same level of service. Sun-beds were not an issue during our stay, there were still many available at 9am. Obviously the best positions around the pool had been reserved with towels, but we didn’t mind. As we entered the second week of our holiday we noticed a change over of guest which changed the subbed reservation dynamics and people began to reserve sun-bed between 6-7am. If you went out in the morning you were unlikely to get a subbed on your return. The food in Cloister was always delicious. Staff in the restaurant were friendly and often remembered what drink you were having with your meal. We were only ever offered one, but had usually finished our meal and returned to the Soma Lounge for another. The surrounding area was pleasant, lots of bars, restaurants and shops. Some enjoyable excursions and the beaches are stunning! I am glad we chose this hotel as it was right in the middle of everything and a beautiful, peaceful oasis inside. From my point of view, they forgot one star, on Booking they are ranked only 4... 10 stars for the stuff! Lazarus - maitre is the best! The chef is a master of cooking. If you come just for a holiday, you will forget to live the fairytale of this place. It's fantastic!

バンボスは私たちの休日を特別なものにしました。そのようなトップの男は強くお勧めします。ホテルのスタッフはフレンドリーで、雰囲気は一般的に素晴らしかったですが、バンボスは私たちの休日を作ったと言わざるを得ません。彼は私たちが実際に彼をとても愛している正しい笑いです。

I want to start this review by saying that the staff at this hotel are outstanding, they go above and beyond to help, they are friendly and very hard working. However, I can’t understand how majority of the reviews for this hotel are positive from what we and other experienced from our stay. Upon arrival the hotel is clean and modern, the rooms are airy and modern and all looks very nice. I think the main issue with this place is there is far far too many guests for the amenities that the hotel has to offer. BUFFET: The buffet restaurant is absolutely tiny, every night there was a huge que wrapped all around to get to the food. This is not ideal with 2 small children when you have go back and forth separately for everyone to get their plate of food. This resulted in my partner not getting anything to eat because of the length of time it took then returning on his own at 9pm. The que went from the very first dish right to the last so it took a long time to get to the end. Not only that the food was not being replenished quick enough, everything was stone cold and the food all had a crusty top layer as if it had been standing for a long time. The food is one of the worst we have had. The hotel is aware of this issue as they had one of the staff members asking for peoples feedback and agreed it was far too small and that the hotel was looking into it. A LA CARTE: My next issue was the a la carte, there is only one included a la carte and the food here was absolutely disgusting and stone cold. The restaurant itself is outdoor but is very very dirty and unkept. While we were there the majority of people were leaving without finishing their meal. We waited over 2 hours and ended up leaving before our dessert as it was just taking so long. ENTERTAINMENT: this also wasnt great, there was only 1 thing on most nights that last 30mins-45mins and then that was it. It was out on the terrace which again there was not enough space or seats for how many guests were at the hotel. Daytime entertainment was very lacking, if you have children this is definitely not a good choice hotel for that reason. There is only 2 young girls that run entertainment during the day and they run very few activities. POOL: the pools upon arrival look great however we found these to be dirty, they all had scum rings around the outer which was never cleaned the whole time we were there, the tiles were black and mouldy in lots of places. We saw ants crawling all over the bar counters too. My suggestion to this hotel would be stop trying to make more money and concentrate on catering to the guests that have already paid a lot to stay here. Open up the paid a la carte as an option to all inclusive guests which would free up more congestion in the buffet. Open the roof top bar also as an option to all inclusive guests, not an extra charge. This would allow for more space for guests to enjoy their night rather than sitting in a small lobby for the whole duration of their holiday

This is one lovely hotel! If you want a place that isn’t huge and over crowded then this is the place. Never short of a sun bed, the pool is never overcrowded and the accommodation is lovely. As for the staff well they are nothing short of incredible, they are friendly and welcoming and take the time to have a chat and a laugh. We will be back for sure!

Good value for money hotel. Stayed for six nights. As we arrived into Ercan Airport at 1am, we pre-booked a taxi through the hotel - arrangement worked well. Taxi was 1400TL. The bedroom was cleaned really thoroughly everyday. Bedroom air conditioning effective and complimentary water provided daily. Breakfast was pretty good. We ate in the hotel bar one evening - food reasonable and not overpriced. Location good - a coffee shop on site, nearby ATMs, corner shops and takeaway restaurants. Hotel is near Easter Mediterranean University. Only issues were lots of steps to main reception with no easily accessible lift - so if you have a lot of luggage you'll need to be a mountain goat. Also, no reading lights on bedside table and no furniture on balcony.
