I’m writing this review while I’m still at the hotel. This brand-new Garden Inn of the Hilton portfolio has blown me away! Right from the time of check-in, the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. Ana and Oto were at the check in desk at my later arrival and they completed check in formalities efficiently and smoothly while briefing me about the hotel and the things to do around. Both were so gracious and warm! In line with Hilton Diamond member benefits, I was offered an upgrade to an absolutely fantastic room on a higher floor, which had a balcony as large as the room. The views of the mountains, river, and the old city from the balcony are so mesmerizing! I would often run into Sophiya during my stay, who would always check on my well being and keep offering useful travel suggestions and tips! Breakfast offerings were limited yet wholesome and very enjoyable. Having some more variety would be a good touch. However, the food display and service at the restaurant was very good. Lastly, a special shout-out to Mariam at the front desk, who was again very helpful and warm and briefed me further on this brand new property. Thanks Mariam, for your help, and for being wonderful and offering a late check out! In my opinion, this Garden Inn property is way better than even some of the full-service Hilton properties I have stayed in! I’m super impressed and will definitely be staying here again!
I booked king bed room but they made two twin beds as king bed which was uncomfortable. They made very interesting bathroom design which was not suitable for many people especially for elderly ones .
First of all I would like to thank all the people who worked in this lovely hotel mike, Khalid, salomi and sorry to forget the Indian guy for their helping and supporting us, the hotel is very clean and the people are kind with smiley face and helpful the break fast was verity and delicious We asked to change the room they tried their best and yes they did by the next day thank you salomi and all the beautiful stuff sure I’ll choose this hotel for my next trip especially its close to the center of Tbilisi.
YYns GlynWow, what a room! Huge balcony and was there over New Years and the view of the fireworks over the river and the mountains were incredible. The receptionist at check-out was incredibly warm and welcoming. Great location and will be awesome once the wine bar is opened as well to have a drink after a day of exploring.
ゲゲストThis place deserves a lot of credit for doing things a bit differently. The design features and floor plan are quite special. We loved some of the details like the record player and projector with streaming access. But once you look closer it is a little rough around the edges for the price that we paid.
Service was also very hit and miss. When we arrived, no one greeted us, instead staff was talking to each other and looked confused when we said we wanted to check-in. In Tbilisi, we had no problem with communicating in English, but the staff here had trouble communicating with us several times. In general, they were friendly though and took time to show us the room.
When we ordered a drink through the room service from the bar downstairs, it came in a flimsy plastic cup that was only have full.
Also be aware, that the window is towards the courtyard where there is a restaurant and bar that closes late and draws some pretty noisy crowds.
The location is great, though, and we did enjoy our stay here. With a little more attention to detail, this would be a great place!
ゲゲストThis is our first time in Georgia and the hotel helped alleviate some of the issues we had during our trip. Although there were limited number of staff to help out during the course of the day (Housekeeping only until 9pm), and some other issues that was nitpicked, overall stay and comfort were points to be celebrated. The room was spacious and temperature control was spot on. TV was huge and free movies were there to be watched. Overall cleanliness and Housekeeping during the day was commendable. The tub was spot on and had this luxurious feeling to it. The view was something that came out of a novel book. and the bed and pillows were something that they should advertise more, it was very comfortable! amenities also, for the price point were also very good. swimming pool is very nice with temperature set on a constant 27 degrees. Gym was quite small but everything a person needs for their usual workout is there. Sauna and spa is very well maintained as well. and the lobby and reception lounges felt like I was in a 5 star hotel, with a very low ceiling height. Breakfast was something that they need to improve I might say. selection, for a contintental breakfast was very very limited, to the point that on our 3rd day, we just didn't eat anything other than egg since it has been very redundant. the choices as well was not that good (2 out of the 8 mains were both egg based). nevertheless, shoutout to all the front of the house staff as they were very accommodating and always there to help us out. Overall, our stay was very pleasant and my family really enjoyed it. We have been blown away by Georgia with some hiccups here and there but will definitely be back and will never look for any other hotels but Marjan.
RRelax31107131389I stayed 2 nights at this hotel as part of an Intrepid trip to Caucasus, therefore I did not choose this property myself. I had a really great room with a balcony - actually massive, with a huge bathroom and slept really well. Whilst there I also put quite a lot of laundry in on the 4-hour turnaround service, which although wasn't the cheapest, was worth it as we were tight on time - everything was returned perfectly to me. My only complaint about the room is that the location is on a busy main road on the edge of the centre, and therefore the balcony faced onto it, and was v noisy, so much so that I didn't hear my friend knocking on my door due to the traffic noise! Breakfast was a good spread and I enjoyed the bar area for quiet drinks in the evening - overall - recommended!
Very nice contemporary hotel, about 20 minutes walk into the centre of Tbilisi. Quieter location than in the centre of town. Room was comfortable and the breakfast was good. The carpet in the bedroom was stained and marked. (They said the carpets will be changed in a months time, hope so...), badly needed for this quality of hotel. There was no shower curtain so the bathroom floor gets soaking...... The hotel, is in general due for renovation. Apart from the shower and stained carpets a very comfortable stay.
The staff was really nice, rooms were clean and with a beautiful view on the city. Comfortable beds and delicious breakfast! At the terrace they have comfortable chairs and small couch, it’s really nice just to sit there and enjoy the view with a glass of hotel’s red wine!
Booked same day on my 2000km road trip. Manager not at reception, delegated my check in to an elderly maid. Had to wait an hour while they argued on the phone. No breakfast in the morning tho I think I booked with it. Not happy and won't recommend
