Relatively good hotel, not very far from the old town. Rooms are big, clean and dry, with a comfortable beds. Bathroom with a walk-in-shower. Foot is acceptable but in limited variety. Very friendly and professional staff. Nice outside pool.

Excellent hotel for a relaxing stay. They had organised a lovely New Year’s party with bbq, buffet and live music! Shower was powerful and hot, variety of delicious food, walking distance to the main square and ticket office and friendly, helpful staff!! Thank you for a beautiful stay!

The friendly greeting, attentive service, awesome restaurant and excellent amenities make the Hotel Bhadgaon the perfect choice to start or end a visit to Nepal. After a three week trek, I choose the latter and enjoyed relaxing in the pool, fast laundry service, and the slower pace (and clean air!) of Bhaktapur to unwind. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable and their shuttle service got me to the airport when it was time to depart. They make a great Mojito and there's a resident cat who will say hello is you ask him. Conveniently located right off the main road from the airport, it's easy to get to, quiet, and a short walk to the hustle/bustle of Bhaktapur's Durbar Square. I'll return to the Hotel Bhadgaon after my next Nepal trek!

The service and lobby area was treated but that is where the positive ended for us. We had two rooms booked last minute and perhaps it is due to a wedding part but we had the most appalling condition rooms. The bathroom in BOTH rooms were just plain scary. Random holes in walls, cracks, mildew. The photos say it all. i complained to the GM and he did waive the airport pick up as a concession and offer to change our rooms the next night but we were only staying for one night. Also not well insulated you can hear every door open and close and we had to slam the door shut in order for it to close properly. The location was great but sadly the room condition ruined our one day stay in the area.

Just finished a very pleasant 2 night stay in one of the hotel’s king suites. We appreciated the extra space. The balcony was too narrow for much use of a chair although it was nice to open the balcony door for air and view. Although it wasn’t mentioned on the booking site, our suite had two bathrooms (one was a half bath). Food at the hotel was very tasty with many choices. The staff was great, and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

The hospitality is amazing over here compared to the Nepali hotel industry benchmark. Warm rooms and you can have Juju Dao. Breakfast is very extensive and taken care of in a proper manner. Really enjoyed our stay here, it’s a perfect place for a little luxury compared to other hotels in the region.
