Just returned from another fantastic stay at the Black Horse over the New Year Period. What can I say, each year we say it can’t get any better, then the team go the extra mile to ensure our stay is absolutely fabulous from beginning to end. The girls have gone out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for us, the Gala Dinner on NYE was amazing, thank you to the fabulous chefs. Maria Watson-Graham made the evening with her fabulous entertainment. Thank you to Agi, Phoebe Tia and all the other staff who have looked over the last couple of days you’ve all been amazing.

Stayed in The Black Horse in Grassington for The Christmas market which didn't happen due to the weather. This is a family run hotel and they certainly do themselves justice. We arrived on Friday evening and left on Sunday morning. We had an amazing time. The food, the staff, the accommodation and last but not least, the entertainment were second to none. Will definitely be back.

Lovely place, ideally situated, with friendly staff who made us feel really welcome, and great allergy friendly food. There's a relaxed, vibrant atmosphere in the bar and lots of fun to join in with. We enjoyed listening to a ukelele group meeting and doing a pub quiz during our stay.

Lovely Location ! Great food, cobalt waters were superb entertainment , waiting staff excellent, bar selection excellent ! Bar staff not so good sadly, very unenthusiastic and untrained ! Worth a visit though for sure ! Maybe worth letting people know in the restaurant that the kitchen closed at 8 on a Sunday when they book at 7.30, little bit rushed but very good still !

Hi I like the black horse I remember itt is the best pub they are very helpful and very good the food is very nice and very good each time I go to Skipton. I'll go to the black horse. It's an excellent place to have food and drink. The staff of a helpful and nice peasant when I am in Skipton I always go to your place

Nice hotel. Restaurant very good with a wide choice of starters and main courses. I had **** chicken as a main course and the flavour was lovely but it was very spicey. The wife had a steak and ale pie and it was full of meat and she really enjoyed it. The hotel itself is in the centre of Grassington and there is an issue with finding somewhere to park nearby. We were fortunate and managed to park in the town centre but otherwise you would need to park in a pay car park a short walk from the town centre. There is a bit of a strange arrangement for ordering breakfast. You are given a check list the night before which you need to tick on the things you want for breakfast and hand it in to staff in the evening.
