Compared to other hotels, hospitality was average ( cold coffee in the bar, not fresh) and room was olddated, with a toilet where you cannot sit without hitting both the showerwall and the toiletpaper holder. Employees are doing their job but not above average, not able to createca feeling thatvwe as guests were welcome. Would not recommend it

Great hotel, colorful with a nice decoration and a garden right on the lake. A great place to stop for a night ot two if you are on your way to/from Oslo and you want a peacful place. The room is cozy and simple, good value for what we paid. There is also a glamping option in the hotel which looked super nice. We also ate dinner in the hotel’s restaurant and really enjoyed it. Really sorry we could not stay more than one night cause this was a true relaxation. Recommended!

Lacks blackout curtains and outlets for charging. Bathroom outlet broken. We were given c-class room despite hotel nearly empty. ****s and shabby grounds. no room phones or traveler info. Dated and run down.

Slightly remote. Fifteen minutes drive to other restaurants. That is not too bad. Nice nature walks, but not much else to walk to besides glass stores. Reasonably the place was designed to capture the heat. In hot periods it needs to have a way to get the hot air out. So even when it is not particularly hot outside, it is inside. This needs a better solution than just propping doors open.

The 5 course dinner was a 5 stars dinner! All of them made with local produced raw materials, some of them were own production! Combined with a perfect selected wine package, and the smiles from the service minded staff, including the director of the hotel, was for us the best new Years Eve in many years!! We are a spoiled couple, with a huge experience from big parts of the world. Simple said; Recomended!!M

The room was hot. It was also noisy when it rained due to gutter overflow outside window. Restaurant was good.

A huge disappoin**ent.   It’s outdated that’s one thing but it’s filthy.  Yes it nice area and surroundings that’s it.   The rooms are awful you can hear everything from other rooms    Breakfast is ok but nothing to be impressed by.  Service is ok    The public areas where not clean and everything seems to be going downhill. Everything from last night, glasses, cup’s etc was still in the corridors this morning. Windows have not been cleaned since ever and the vacuum cleaner apparently is “ not working “Let’s hope the new owners will pick up on this ASAP!!!! Btw we paid 2000 NOK for one night for standard room.

The hotel is directely near to the Randsfjorden.
