Pathetic, callous!This was a trap by Ajeesh of Shruthi houseboat. We were shown good house boat ride and comfort. And informed, they can club resort stay but the payment has to be done upfront. When we reached the resort, shocks keep descending on us one after the other. I just read reviews from 2019 and I have same complaints of poor infrastructure, no hot water, slimy pool, broken tiles and feel unsafe. Over priced and Pathetic attitude of the reception. No intercom, as that's meant for a mgmt that's concerned about their visitors safety or service. Well in this case none mattered. Breakfast is not available until 9:30am. Gosh wanna ruin your holiday, this place will not let you down. We were the only guests in the entire resort. I guess that says it all.

We stayed between 22nd Sept and 24th Sept at this property. It was a very serene experience amidst the nature with adjoining bird sanctuary. The resort has a history and is quite a wonderful heritage property. It was a nice comfortable stay. We did kayaking and my daughter enjoyed it a lot. Same goes with other activities around. Staff was courteous and very helpful. The breakfast spread was good and the dinner was awesome. Amal and Tejah served us with warmth and smile. Priya was helpful throughout. Overall it was wonderful and a memorable experience.

Best place in Kumarakom to stay in, had a great experience and we really felt happy with the service provided. Rooms were ultra clean and comfortable The staff were amazing and treat you like family, especially impressive service from Unni Kuttan. Truly Awesome and great experience. Highly recommend this place. Looking forward to stay here again :-) Special Thanks to the Property Manager and Front Desk staffs for being extremely professional and yet provided a homely service. Having stayed in several resorts, we consider Niramaaya a premium resort. Right from the time we stepped in, we were cared for very well. The lake view room is generous in space and well-appointed. The place was quiet and relaxing except for some music next door on one night (a wedding celebration). The food was excellent, and they even cooked special food considering our diet restrictions. The spa and Sauna were great! Very well worth it! Overall a great experience!

Having stayed in several resorts, we consider Niramaaya a premium resort. Right from the time we stepped in, we were cared for very well. The lake view room is generous in space and well-appointed. The place was quiet and relaxing except for some music next door on one night (a wedding celebration). The food was excellent, and they even cooked special food considering our diet restrictions. The spa and Sauna were great! Very well worth it! Overall a great experience!

One of our favourite hotels in Kerala! The location and grounds are stunning. Arriving by boat adds a charm to the hotel, ***** with the musical welcome. The staff are all wonderful and go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need. The rooms are a little dark but comfortable and the outdoor bathroom open to the sky is a nice touch. Lots of complimentary activities including a cooking demonstration and a sunset cruise. Shout out to Prateesh who took us out on an electric bike tour through the village. Using his contacts, we were invited into a village house and the garden of another who was making toddy. Prateesh came to find us later in the day, to give us a taste of toddy. Exceptional customer service. The yoga class here was definitely a case of third time lucky on my tour and was well delivered for a mixed ability class. The butterfly garden with the knowledgeable Anjana was another highlight. One of the nicest pools on our trip and most of the time we were there, it was empty. A great hotel I would love to return to.

ゲゲストGood experience, overall a good properly, but little bit costly. Ambience good. Food is nice. Service is good. Good service by restaurant and food and beverage department. Even-though we booked for vishu sadhya as we stayed on vishu day, they cancel-led the sadhya due to less order. But the f&b manager mr. Haneef individually informed as about the cancellation but promised that he will arrange a mini sadhya if we require and we agreed and they arranged the same. It was delicious and good service by the entire team. Thank you for making our celebration wonderful

ゲゲストMe and a colleague booked this resort for a 1 night stay on 18th September through MMT as part of a business meeting with a client based out of Kottayam. We were traveling from Bangalore and reached the resort at 12pm as per the check in time stated in the booking confirmation, but from reception it was told that they've recently changed the check in time to 2pm however it wasn'tcommunicated to us. After talking and waiting for about half an hour they've alloted the room. Below are our specific experience at Paradise Resort, Kumarakom: 1. Food options in the menu weren't available. Said that there is a party going on for another group, so cheff is busy with that and only limited items are available for other guests. 2. We were having a beer sitting at the varantha of our cottage. Then a staff came, said that he's the GM of the resort and told us there is a police officer and group of friends staying in the resort (two cottage after ours), so we cannot have beer in our cottage's varantha. But this group of people were enjoying drinks in front of their cottage and walking around the property with liquor. So we had a little bit of argument, and our point was ”the rule within the resort should be same for all guests.” The GM wasn't ready to accept that and behaved us in an unprofessional tone. He was often saying he's the GM, also said that they've contact with politicians, police and local leaders, so if you doesn't want to stay then you should leave. It was clear threatening and an unacceptable way of communication from a person who should be treating all customers equally. 3. Finally we complained at MMT and vacated the resort 2 hours after check-in. Even when we were leaving, the way staff and GM communicated was inappropriate. 4. After vacating, we've booked Abad Whispering Palms (a nearby resort) and stayed there overnight. It was an amazing experience at Abad and from all staffs. 5. Overall, Paradise Resort management should give some sort of hospitality training to their staffs. I believe some of the reviews they've on google or other booking platforms are paid reviews. At present this resort doesn't even qualify for a 1 star rating.
