From the minute we entered into this quaint venue we were made to feel at home and welcome. The staff were amazing and friendly nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were beautiful, clean and comfy. The food was lovely as well a real Gem and we have already booked to return

To put it politely the hotel is grubby. The bathroom has grout missing, panels coming off the bath and mould and mildew. The bed is a spring mattress that is very uncomfortable with just a single sheet as a cover. The carpet and chairs have disgusting stains all over them. The cleaners come daily but just make the bed and empty the bins, they don’t take away used cups or replenish teas/coffees. There are no lifts in the hotel and the rooms are up at least two flights of stairs. It’s across the road to the Olympia which is the only good thing about the hotel. I wouldn’t stay again, pay slightly more and stay at the Hilton up the road, or 15 mins walk down the road is Premier Inn.

I can’t rate our experience high enough. Nothing was too much trouble, and the staff were probably the friendliest. I have known staff to be in a hotel. I accidentally made an error with the booking. I braced myself for hostility (experienced in the past and other hotels), but the staff here was so understanding and changed the booking without any question. The food was lovely, and the mocha was among our best. Thank youTammy & Jaz, we will definitely be back!

Popped in here for lunch after visiting Olympus. Seated quickly, despite being busy and promptly handed a menu. The order was efficiently taken at the table. I ordered fish finger sandwiches in brown bread. Tasted delicious. Food was served quickly and without fuss.

My friend and I popped in for late lunch following a visit to an exhibition at Olympia. The food was tasty and well presented, but could have done with a fraction more seasoning. Staff were friendly and helpful and the bar was well stocked.
