We went here for a wedding. We booked 2 nights and came to over $1000nzd. Fine to pay that but looking back I would definitely not. The food was below average and overpriced. because your stuck on the island there is no where else to eat apart from the other resort next door, although I didnt bother to try as we all got sick with gastro along with 15 from our family plus others on the island. So warning YOU WILL CATCH GASTRO here if your not careful. It was either the buffet food or tap water, plus we were probably catching it off eachother in the end. Such a terrible bug and left us bed ridden for the rest of our trip. I wish i did more research prior as it seems this is not a new thing on the island. Staff werent very helpful, waitresses were rude and they take soooo long to serve you. towels are so hard to get they take a whole day for them to show up on your doorstep. My cousin and her little family got put up in a small room in the back of the resort infested with mosquitoes and bugs, poorly lit and quite dingey. They demanded to move, however they werent granted their request without putting up a fuss. Boat ride was 190$ one way for me and my husband, again very overpriced holiday. Weather was amazing, got a nice tan, but wont be visiting this island again unfortunately.

Heaven is, Musket cove. We stayed in musket cove last year and fell in love with the resort. So much so, we decided to make it our annual june holiday. Once again we were so welcomed by the most amazing, friendly and calming staff. Our Bure was a beautiful retreat, that felt quiet, peaceful and authentic. The island is our absolute favourite… the sand paths, immaculate gardens and activity/ entertainment options provided us with a dream holiday. My husband surfed almost daily, while I would go for hikes, run the island trials and explore. Found secluded beaches and lookouts that are more breathtaking than imaginable…. Ziggy and Josie always provided us with refreshment afternoon drinks (without prompting our preference) at the island bar yacht club. Ruth always hooked us up with the best tours, snorkelling trips and activities. Suli, was the biggest vibe. We loved his presence and enthusiasm. We loved our trip (again) so much, we re-booked for august and December/ January. Paradise does exist…
