Flatiron Hotel

Horrible hotel! Rooms are so small there is no where to put things when you unpack. No dresser or other drawers and closet is so narrow it won’t close if you hang something. Terrible location and almost no dining options nearby! Our first reaction was it feels like a hostel! HVAC runs nonstop. No convenience store and water not provided. Room fridge does not get cold. Front desk often left unattended. I could go on and on…..

Room was small but beautiful. Great views out over Broadway. I like the simplicity of the Sonder check in and check out process via the app. All the access codes were electronically delivered. The people were still friendly and helped with restaurant recommendations but there wasn’t a wait in a line while someone types a novel on a terminal to check you in. The bed was super comfortable, the pillows were fluffy. I would happily star again.

Great location. It is close to Washington Park, the Flatiron, restaurants, shopping, and the subway. Easy checkin and checkout. We really appreciated the free storage lockers for our luggage. The airy feel and views out the large windows in our room were so nice. Yes, it was a bit noisy but nothing that would make us not stay here again. Some things that would have enhanced our stay-a multi-charging/plug on both sides of the bed, a couple bottles of water or access to ice, and a comfy chair but again nothing that would prevent us from a return visit.
