プラヤ・ブランカの2つ星ホテル

When we first arrived I thought we were a bit out of the way on the complex but we could not have asked for a better location. Lovely view, bungalow was very clean and spacious with plenty of storage and had everything we needed. Safety box included in the price and a beach/pool towel was provided. We used our own for the beach and the Tui towel for the pool. Plenty of pools to choose from and plenty of loungers. Mainly went to the beach which was probably a 2 minute walk from our bungalow. Plenty of places for food and drink during the day. Restaurant food was really good and varied. We usually have a meal out even though we are all inclusive but did not feel the need. The staff are unbelievably hard working - special mention of Marina in the evening Bar and Husseine in the pool bar. Both excellent at what they do. Evening entertainment was ok but could do with a bit more variety. We never bother with entertainment during the day but it seemed popular. Only niggles were the sticking gate at the bungalow and the cleaner coming very early after we had been there less than 24 hours! We made use of the 'Having a nap' door card until we were up and about after that. Also missed the welcome meeting which was 9am - a lie in after a long journey and breakfast were more important. A later meeting may have been preferable. Would definitely recommend.

You've got to bear in mind - you get what you pay for! For the price this place was very clean (maids came 5 days a week), reception staff were an absolute delight - Andreas was a bloody hoot and always welcomed us with a smile and was happy to do anything for us. The complex itself, fabulous! Clean big pools (there is 2), a pool bar with happy hours which run from 12-1 and 6-7 which is buy one get one free on most items. They also played music once the bar opened and there was a small animation team which offered daily games such as bingo and darts for a chance to win a free cocktail. You have the option to access the breakfast buffet for approx 8 euro each if your self catering and there is food available to order from the bar for most the day which is cooked and brought up fresh from the kitchen. There is also a shop on site (right next to the pool) so for the folks who didn't want to spend their money at the pool bar,, they could drink cold cans round the pool area and the staff welcomed this. They did also cook fresh croissants and other pastries most morning which was a lovely treat. In our self catering room we had everything we needed, 2 hobs, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, cutlery etc,. Everything was clean and well maintained - we had aircon in the bedroom, the one thing that let it down was that the beds were so hard, very thin mattresses which was not the best to sleep on but given everything else we was happy to overlook this. Yes the suites are outdated but you need to remember its a 3* budget friendly complex which offers more than expected. Caybeach sun - to sum it up.. if you're looking for a place with a great atmosphere, clean big pools, good location and within budget then this is the place for you!

We had the most amazing two week break at Palmeras Gardens. Please don’t be put off by negative reviews. The hotel was around a 30 minute walk into Playa Blanca central. We went along the seafront which made for a lovely walk. Alternatively A taxi costs €5 and the bus €1.40 per journey, and they run every 30 mins and stop on the main road just above the complex. We used this most days as it’s so quick and convenient. You are far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the centre but still plenty of things close by. Onsite bar and supermarket. Around 4/5 restaurants a 2 minute walk away. Around 15 minute to Flamingo Beach with more restaurants and supermarkets and the same the opposite way to Pechiguera again with more restaurants and supermarkets. We stayed in a superior bungalow and we couldn’t fault it. It was clean and spacious and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Although other bungalows close by we never heard another person. No noise from the pool area either. You could even see the sea from the terrace. We were there for 2 weeks and the room was cleaned 12 out of the 14 days. We knew when we booked that it was extra for the air conditioning and safety key. I don’t understand the people who moaned about not knowing as it’s clearly stated on the website. The reception offers a premium pack which is the air conditioning, premium WiFi and safe. They do a package for 1/7/10/14/21/30 days. Well worth the money and a great saving. Deposit required but you get this back. Reception staff were so friendly and helpful, literally couldn’t do enough for you. A few times we asked for more toilet roll etc and it was delivered right away. Also happy to help you book excursions and offer local information. Pool area was clean and tidy and despite going in July/August we never had any issues getting a bed or umbrella. Reception offers mattress rental for beds but I don’t think it’s worth it. You can rent pool towels which we did for just a €10 deposit. If you want to change them during the holiday it’s €1 per towel. Pool bar opens from 11am. A good choice of drinks and snacks and ice creams and you can order from the full bar menu. Good value for money. Bar arena was just down the steps and we couldn’t fault it. Service was second to none and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was really tasty and I’d highly recommend the fish and chips and pizza. If you are looking for a nice beach then flamingo beach is the best. Easy to access, a great place to swim and take little ones in the water as it’s a bay. A sandy beach. Plenty of places to park up for the day. Stuff was safe to be left when we went in the water as it’s family friendly. Even rented a paddle board one day which was fun and good value for money (€15 for an hour or €20 for 2) If you are looking for a quiet getaway then this is the place for it. We would highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

We had a nice clean appartement which was very spacious. The bed is really good, very soft and we slept like babies. Bathroom was nothing special but clean which is the most important thing. Breakfast is a bit on the expensive side. (8,- for 2 small orange juice). The staff was friendly. We would’ve liked to stay longer but unfortunately it was fully booked. The only downside was the 100,- borg that has to be payed with creditcard as we didn’t have one but we got the appartement anyway. I recommended this place to others if they’re looking to relaxed without the screams from tourists. If you read this as a tourist please keep this beautiful island clean and show your respect. (We walked around with an empty bag picking up trash along the road)

I emailed the hotel before arrival requesting a certain type of room and on arrival this was allocated to my husband and myself. Check in was swift and a drink was offered along with a cold meal being delivered to our room which we declined as it was 10.30pm. The suite was clean and kept to a high standard during our stay. Plenty of room in the wardrobes, drawers and other storage areas. All the staff we encountered were friendly, helpful, polite and efficient, a credit to H10. The hotel is ideally located in Playa Blanca, within five minutes of a lovely beach and a further walk takes you to the marina in one direction and the port in another where you can catch a ferry to Fuerteventura. Twice a week there is an artisan's market at the marina where a wide variety of products are available. We only spent two afternoons by the pool as we prefer the beach but the sunbeds were comfortable although some of the umbrellas were broken. We stayed all inclusive, the wine was good and it is worth while working your way through the cocktails as they are delicious!! There was a good variety of food available for every palate and service was efficient and always with a smile. However, during our stay, both my husband and I were ill with food poisoning and when we reported the incident to reception were told it was ” bacteria in the air”. I don't think so and reading other reviews I see that food poisoning has been mentioned several times. It is because of this I can only give the White Suites three stars. We have stayed in the hotel previously as it is adults only and enjoyed our time there which is why we booked the White Suites again but would hesitate to go again. The hotel needs to investigate its hygiene standards to see what is causing the food contamination.

Stayed for a week half board last week (previous year came as all inclusive) Breakfat fine only complpaint is that many mornings we had to clear are own table as there was not enough staff, Never found a bowl the whole holiday for cereal or yoghurt. Evening meal was also fine but we only ate in 3 times and opted to heat out by the sea. Italian restaurant next door returned one meal to be heated up never saw i again no apology or anything so we ended up leaving, wont be eating in there again. The service and food the year before was better. Rooms well kept and cleaned everyday we had 3 diff cleaners over the week, the middle cleaner was the best, this time our room had two sinks and a bath but the wardrobe was smaller than previous visit so we ended up also living out our cases as there was no drawers in the room. Instead of the suitcase rack they need some drawers. Only the smell of sewage once it downpoured. Would reccommend the lifeguard sits aounr the pool and not hidden near the water slides (only one slide was working the whole week) Entertainment in the evening was still rubbish like the previous year so we just went out. The entertainment in the day by the pook for good. Queues for the bar in the evening was mad, one night there was 14 people queing and only one person serving. Big queues at the pool bar same as last year, only went to the pool bar once and was service by a very rude and agressive bar worked called Roberto so never went back again and brought our own drinks in from the shop. Paige on Reception excellent nothing to much trouble. Anita on Reception rude and unhelpful. Accused my son and his friend lying about how many tickets they had won in the arcades. We arrived at the Hotel at 10pm just as the Restaurant closed we were not offered any food even though we had paid for an evening meal that night. Once we got to our room there wasnt even a bottle in there, bar queue silly and the super market was shut. I think for the cost of staying here a bottler of water on arrival isnt going to bankrupt them. More staff required in the Restaurant. If I could stay again as Bed & Breakfast I would go back again but apart from that I would probably try one of the other Hotels. With a few tweeks this could be a great Hotel

Just returned from a fabulous stay here in LABRANDA Hotel Alyssa. Travelled with 2 children - we absolutely loved it here l, the staff are all so helpful and friendly spoke with the children every day - a really good option on half board to exchange evening meal for lunch meaning we could go out in the evening which we enjoy doing. Rooms clean and comfortable - would probably opt for a 2 bedroom bungalow for future stays just for a bit more wardrobe space but was fine for a week. Food was really fresh and lovely and a special shout out to the ladies in the morning on the omelette station - perfect fresh omelettes and 2 lovely ladies - pools some of the best we’ve been to as a family loads of space and sun loungers - stunning views and heated middle pool was lovely A lovely walk down to the seafront and beach and playa Blanca - we felt safe and secure all week and would recommend to any family such as nice place and our new favourite side of playa Blanca - I would probably give the hotel a really good 4 star on food staff cleanliness and the room more a 3 star but would definitely be 4* with a few tweaks like a bit more wardrobe space for a stay for 4 people - this was however the most relaxing holiday and relaxed hotel weve stayed in for a family - thanks for all the hardworking staff all week
