Food was amazing!! Staff was amazing!! Always smiling and willing to help. Just offer more vegetarian options with some flavor except salt, should bring some Tex mex with taste which was afraidly missing a lot of times. All food should be labeled and have different spoons for each item, a lot of times some food had same spoons. Cooking in the pan and not using a new one when someone else asks. For breakfast using the same skillet and not cleaning thoroughly before the next customer. The location is amazing, bar is good. Snacks bar needs to have more options except cheese pizza for vegetarian. They offer lot of things but don’t carry it all.
ゲゲストBlissful Experience on Beautiful San Andres This trip was our first time in Colombia and our first time in San Andres. Initially we reserved and stayed one night at another property on the southwest end of the island. Although it was across the road from the ocean with a stunning view and with a great beach just to the south down the road, it was very far away from everything. The boutique hotel Casa Hendaus found us. We thought that there weren't anymore ”nice” places available when we booked our initial lodging. We found and booked Casa Hendaus just hours after realizing the other location would not work. By the way, English is my first language. The evening manager does not speak English but was patient when I explained my needs in basic Spanish. One look was all it took! From the lobby to 2nd floor pool lounge to the top floor breakfast area, the entire property is beautiful. Beyond beautiful...blissful. One can realize quickly that EVERY element of the property was considered by a thoughtful human wish you to feel bliss. Experience the property for yourself. Meet Rebecca, the day manager, who is fluent in English. Her recommendations were so helpful! From dinner options to taxis she helped us whenever we needed it. Every morning, meet the morning staff who prepares and serves your meal in the penthouse breakfast area. Meet your room attendants who faithfully restore your room to a comfortable condition to receive you at day's end. Even meet the grounds person and maintenance person, both careful caretakers of the greenery and property. I even had the pleasure of meeting the owner. You could walk here from the airport in 20 minutes. If there was no fence, you could be there in 5 minutes! But a 5 minute taxi ride for certain. The beach and boardwalk area is about 20 minutes walking. Downtown or El Centro is about 30 minutes. The ocean and sunset is out the door, to the left, 7 minutes away. Enjoy your stay!!!
I write this after a very traumatic experience. I await a full refund from hotel and *******. No update as of yet. Disheartening. Hello Roselle, Thank you for the update. I appreciate your efforts in working on my refund request with Nattivo Collection Hotel. I want to provide more context on the situation, which was extremely distressing and led to me cutting my trip short. I checked in at 3 pm on August 5th and went to sleep early as I wasn’t feeling well. In the middle of my first night, someone entered my room without any announcement of who they were. I screamed loudly, startled them, and the safety latch blocked their full entry. They shut the door without saying a word. This incident left me feeling extremely threatened and unable to sleep. At 4 am, I booked a return flight to end the vacation I had planned, feeling too scared to stay any longer. The next morning, I explained the situation to the hotel staff and recorded the encounter. Initially, they did not seem shocked or apologetic, only starting to take me seriously when I said I needed to leave due to feeling unsafe. They eventually called me a taxi to the airport as I needed to leave in 20 minutes to make my flight. They stated they’d give me a full refund but I needed to speak to *******. After an investigation, the later explained that it was a supervisor who had entered my room. They showed me the camera footage and admitted it was an error. The person who entered my room never announced themselves and did not respond to my screams, which would have been the correct action to reassure me. Instead, I was left terrified, thinking someone might be waiting for me outside my room. Why would a supervisor need to enter a room at that time? They said they thought it was empty. If that’s the case, why did they knock? As a woman traveling alone, this experience was incredibly traumatic. It is unacceptable for anyone, especially hotel staff, to enter a guest’s room in the middle of the night without proper identification and communication. This incident raises serious concerns about safety and security at the hotel. I find it highly unusual that a supervisor would not immediately contact the front desk after they heard he screaming during the attempted entry, to ensure the startled guest was informed it was a hotel employee and reassured about the situation. I hope the hotel and ******* values the safety of its customers, especially women traveling alone, and will fix the situation and offer a refund immediately. Thank you for your understanding and assistance in resolving this matter promptly.
I was scheduled to stay in this hotel for 4 days and 3 nights it was q group of 9 of us with 5 rooms. As soon as we arrived to the main entrance, noticed the building was a bit run down. As we approach the from door it was full of hand prints and dirty. We gave it the benefit of the doubt. We received our room keys and the nightmare began. My room specifically was the worst of all. It had mold, on the walls and sticky smell coming out the air conditioner. The curtains were dirty and full of mold, the bathroom was dirty it previous guess hair all over. The furniture you can see the dust from far. I requested to be changed to another room and the answer was, we at full capacity. We decided to have some drinks by the bar, and the fridge where the ice is kept dirty, the pool chairs all dirty full of mold and broken. I immediately called my travel agent cause I didn’t want to spend one more second at this place. Unfortunately we wouldn’t find a hotel with 5 rooms available until next morning. I didn’t sleep in my room cause it was un breathable. I spoke with a manager next morning and offer to show her all the pictures I have from everything I was complaining and she just stated- I believe you. I was promise a refund except for the night we stayed there. I’m still waiting for the refund. Please see the pictures.
