ホテル サント ドミンゴ デ シロス

I stayed here for one night as a base to visit Sad Hill. The hotel is very picturesque, clearly well maintained, cleanly and the room I had was perfectly adequate with a good sized bathroom, comfortable bed and TV. I used the free parking 5 minutes away as opposed to paying the on site fee. There is a bar and restaurant on site and a small shop for provisions. The hotel is very central and some good walking around the historic area can be had. Note, English is not spoken at this hotel but I managed to muddle through with my very broken Spanish and the use of Google translate. If I was in the area I would 100% stay here again.

We enjoyed our three night stay in this very well run family hotel. Everyone was very friendly, even though we don't speak much Spanish, and they really wanted to make our stay pleasant. The food in the dining room was home-style cooking, freshly prepared and very tasty and the breakfast was the best value we have seen for a long time. There is good undercover parking in a garage which keeps cars cool. We thoroughly recommend this hotel.

When you drive in , you essentially have to back out into the main street because it is almost impossible to drive out the other direction. Even the hotel employee told me not to try. You have to pay 7.70 euros to gain access to the underground parking, You have to drive extremely slow and careful as the driveway is very narrow. My room is very small. I used the second bed to place my suitcase and carry on. I have no other space. If you want breakfast, you have to pay 5 euros. I was very lucky to check in when I did. Later on in the afternoon, I noticed the receptionist was gone. It was siesta time. You will be dead in the water until the guy shows up It took awhile for the hot water to show up. I thought I was going to have a lukewarm shower but eventually it got hot. The AC works great and it is quiet. The dinner/service within the hotel ******. The food was edible and almost tasteless. The server was fairly rude but I guess that is normal in Spain.

Positiv: Sehr gute Lage. Modernes sauberes Zimmer. Parkplatz in Tiefgarage. Freundliches Personal. Wer die Gegend und das Kloster erkunden will, ist hier genau richtig. Negativ: Das Abendessen, na ja, teuer und hab schon besser gegessen. Mühsames Check-in. Glasfenster an der Toiletten-Badezimmertür doch etwas seltsam.

Personal atento, habitaciones amplias , buena limpieza y buenos colchones donde se descansa bien. En el pueblo no se puede aparcar pero tienes parkings cercanos a las entrada del pueblo. En el mismo hotel hay restaurante donde se come bien y los precios son razonables. El desayuno es buffet y bastante completo por el precio que tiene que es razonable.

Elegimos este hotel porque dispone de apartamentos y piscina y nos parecía más cómodo para ir con niños. El apartamento está muy bien. Todo muy nuevo. Como sugerencia creo que para un alojamiento de cuatro personas tiene poco sofá. Solo nos podíamos sentar 3 personas para ver un rato la tele. Surgieron un par de problemas que enseguida se puso Juan Carlos (responsable) para solucionarlos. El personal, competente y servicial. El desayuno podría ser algo más variado ( más fruta fresca y cereales que no había) pero siempre han intentado cumplir en base a lo que disponían.
