We have just returned from our 7 night stay at vasia. We had a lovely holiday. Lots of positives- rooms were good, very clean hotel. Good location and good food. Would we return, possibly not due to lack of atmosphere. We have two teenagers and we found there was nothing to do in the evenings apart from the evening show at 9:30pm which lasted an hour. We found the time between evening meal and show would drag as nothing to do or we had done it all so would go for a walk. Evening shows very good and our family enjoyed the quiz which is on Mondays. I can imagine if you are staying for two weeks it would become boring as shows are on a weekly rotation. Food good but my family found it very samey . Drinks selection very poor, wine was awful so I ended up buying a bottle for €20 euros as I could no longer drink anymore of it. Overall experience good and definitely not a bad hotel by any means but just not right for our family with teenagers. Next time we would not do all inclusive so we can eat at different places and enjoy nicer drinks.

We have just finished our lovely 1 week stay at Vasia and look forward to a return hopefully next year! Food was good ,plenty of choice and always tasty. My only criticism really is the sun loungers need replacing. All the sunbeds seem to sink in the middle making them uncomfortable and difficult to get on and off. Evening entertainment seemed very limited but we usually go out to one of the many local bars or pretty harbour 5 min walk away. One word of warning though if you're a beach lover - The "beach" listed as 200m away if actually a stoney patch at the edge of the harbour with steps cut into the rocks but still enables a lovely dip in the calm,clear waters.

I booked a last minute holiday for myself and teenage granddaughter to have a week in the sunshine , I can honestly say from start to finish this hotel and staff were amazing .. The food was lovely , our room was spotless with very comfortable beds , modern furniture and the maids cleaned room and changed our beds and towels every day . The pools are all maintained every morning and very clean . Family pool has lots of slides and fun activities going in for the little ones . I would like to say Vasalie the pool bar man such a lovely guy and served us every day with a friendly smile . Anastasia in the reception bar so lovely and welcoming , she is a credit to this hotel family . Nicos the restaurant manager , the Italian restaurant chef all the waiting staff were fabulous, they all made our holiday so special . Thank you everyone at the Vasia hotel and Spa we will be back . If I had to make 1 complaint it is to say I wasn’t to pleased the all inclusive drinks are stopped being served at 11pm and you get charged after that :-( Don’t listen to any of the whinge moan bags who slate this hotel …. I’m so please I ignored them as we had a super time there

Just back home from 7 nights at Vasia. First day we went to the main pool and were a little taken aback at the crowded and mostly broken sunbeds. Really felt like everyone was on top of each other. After a quick chat with reception we upgraded to a private pool room 1631 and from then on it was bliss. Room was good size for 2 adults and 2 children and having your own pool with a view of the ocean was fantastic. Cleaning staff were brilliant and kept everything clean and tidy. We really rated the buffet restaurant and there was something tasty to suit us all everyday. Thought it was a really nice touch to be greeted by the head chef at dinner service. The bar staff were fab but we have to call out the attentive and friendly service of Manolis, he was fantastic. We had a meal at the Greek a la carte but were not impressed, buffet restaurant was much better. Although the sunset views from there were stunning. Lots of lovely restaurants in the area especially the one right on the harbour- Paradise cove. All in a fabulous week and would return as long as we booked a private pool room!

Absolutely fantastic hotel! We had the best family holiday. Would highly recommend! Staff were so friendly and helpful! Hotel was clean and had excellent facilities for all! Slides kept the kids entertained. Food was delicious and always fresh! Brilliant entertainment! Close to harbour with beautiful views and bars!

I was a bit put off by the reviews, but can confirm it's just us Europeans being fussy and particular. We got a free upgrade, to executive suite on arrival, which was delightful and so kind. The staff are exactly what makes this place so special. It wasn't the 5* that (we) British are accustomed to BUT the staff made it a 5* experience and then some - from reception, to waiters, to chefs, to cleaners, maintenance and entertaiment - they are all wonderful hosts. Rooms cleaned regularly, food topped up and checked on throughout breakfast/lunch/dinner service. All inclusive was a bit of a scam as we arrived after midnight on the first day, and all incl finished at 11 on out last day, which meant 8 hours wait for our flight home. Not ideal for small families. Didn't swim in all pools as we had our own but they all looked well kept and clean. Sunbeds are shabby, and in dire need of replacing. Evening entertainment was alright, depending on what you like. The spa is expensive, very expensive BUT the staff in there are knowledgeable about their job and are so very lovely- as all Greeks are! Also, the cats, let's take a moment to appreciate the love of cats, feral but friendly and somehow taken care of so no fleas or spraying! All in, a fantastic holiday, and we will return - its such a peaceful village and has all the island vibes you could ask for.
