This hotel does the job. It’s in a good location near to a tram and metro line. Alternatively, it’s about a 20 min walk into the city centre. The hotel rooms are small and dinky, you can’t swing a cat in them but they do the job for a 2-3 day stay. Towels are provided which was handy.
This hotel has a wonderful breakfast spread. We enjoyed the breakfast and looked forward to it every morning. There is a wide choice of selection and everything was delicious.
The room was clean and spacious, though the furnishings are dated.
Reception is very friendly and helpful.
Not the best location in Sofia, but convenient for trams. About 10 minutes walk to Sofia centre or Sofia Mall. 5 minutes walk to the Ladies Market. Not many shops or restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel
The hotel is located in the heart of the town. It took us some time to find the entrance to the hotel because of reconstruction process that is going on near the hotel. Parking area being very small was fully occupied, therefore we had to search for public parking area. The room was a little bit dark and one mirror element (part of wall decoration) was broken. Cleanness in the room and in the hallway leave much to be desired. Breakfast was very good: well organised, good service with good variety of food.
DDouglass2001_s.sWas a comfortable and well outfitted apartment. Has excellent laundry machines, and supplied detergent. Bedroom was clean and comfortable. Nice and warm in the winter.
ゲゲストThe hotel has a great location in the centre of the city and is great for tourism. Great food in the restaurant for breakfast and throughout the day. Staff in the restaurant and hotel were friendly and helpful. Nice stay for six nights.
ゲゲストThe Junior Suite was wonderful, essentially a studio apartment with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, large windows, a private balcony seating area and extensive shelf space. The bathroom was very modern with a very nice tall shower. The beds were very comfortable and the room was large, with a couch. Definitely a great place for both short and long stays.
There were a few small inconveniences in the room, but nothing that affected our stay (water seemed to leak over the door of the shower onto the shower mat; toilet seat was very stiff and loud to open/close; closets were very wide but oddly short to accommodate extra drawers, so too small to hang dresses in full length; the automatic lighting inside the closets did not turn off correctly; and our key card stopped working in the middle of our stay and had to be fixed at the reception). The hotel is very close to a tram stop, so it's easy to get into the city center, and it's also very close to the Cultural Center. It is a bit more of a trek to walk into the city, but still possible in 20 minutes or so. The hotel is located on a small street off the main road and the sidewalk leading up to it is very narrow and in disrepair. You would not guess that the inside of the hotel is so sleek and modern based on the older surrounding area.
BBUSSINESHotel Anel in Sofia boasts spacious rooms and a central location, but the service leaves much to be desired. Staff often come across as indifferent, with reports of unresponsiveness and rude behavior. Issues like delayed room readiness, poor cleaning standards, and inconsistent amenities detract from the 5-star experience. Improvements in customer care are needed
ゲゲストThe definition of the perfect location. Metro line with connection to the airport just 4 minutes away. Every attraction is just within 5 to 12 minutes walking range. Literally. So basically, Sofia is on your feet.
The employees were always there to help you with anything you might ask. Clean room with a nice comfy bed, king size, they said, a comfy double bed, I say.
Nice buffet for breakfast with a great variety of products.
I will definitely come back anytime!!!
