While located near Serdika metro station, the area is generally quieter. Our room was located on the second level, and there’s no lift access to our room. But the receptionist offered to help us with our luggage. Hotel is clean, and our room had a huge sofa and TV.

I checked in on a Friday evening and enjoyed a three-course dinner at the hotel restaurant, paired with excellent local wine. The open kitchen was spacious and impeccably clean, and all the staff members were exceptionally friendly and energetic. As my first accommodation in Bulgaria, this hotel truly represented the country's ability to leave a wonderful impression on visitors. After dinner, I visited the rooftop bar, which had a fantastic vibe with a live DJ and reasonably priced drinks—keeping the energetic mood going late into the night.

コストパフォーマンスがとても良いです。部屋は清潔で居心地が良い。午後7時以降に到着する方のために、セルフチェックインも利用できます。WhatsAppで連絡しました。ベッドは快適です。ただ、掛け布団はもう少し大きくても良いかもしれません。私の部屋は裏手の別棟の1階にありました。早朝にコーヒーやお茶を淹れたい場合は電気ケトルが利用できます。ミニ冷蔵庫もあります。エアコンも完備されており、衣類用のアイロンもあります。 ロケーションは完璧で、すぐ外にはトラム駅があり、空港線駅も乗り換え1回、または歩いてもすぐです。 近隣は安全だと感じましたし、様々な施設があります。たくさんのレストラン、ショップ、食料品店があります。 唯一の不満は、他の人も指摘しているように、トイレとシャワーが分かれていないことだけです。でも、温水と冷水のシャワーはとても快適でした。ここでシャワーを浴びるのが好きでした。

The attitude of the receptionist was unprofessional, rude and unacceptable. For one hour, the whole hotel didn’t know how to charge my credit card, as their credit card machine doesn’t follow EU rules for 3D security, thus jeopardising clients’ private data. I wasted a full hour on the phone with my bank, only to find out that the hotel doesn’t follow rules on how to securely handle credit card data. The management kept telling me that it’s my fault, despite the fact I never before have had problems with card payments before. Breakfast food was decent, with a choice between a couple of set menus. The hotel was clean, rooms were quiet, and it was situated and in a convenient location, within 3-4 minutes from the nearest metro station. Some of the photos on their site are dated, as the interior is different now.

Our stay at Hotel Budapest in Sofia was enjoyable and convenient. The hotel’s location is excellent—easily accessible and close to many key attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious, with a variety of well-prepared dishes that satisfied our expectations. However, the dinner service during New Year’s Eve was noticeably slower, likely due to the large number of guests celebrating the occasion. While the wait was understandable given the holiday rush, a bit more efficiency would have improved the experience. Overall, Hotel Budapest offers great food, a prime location, and a welcoming atmosphere. With a little attention to service during peak times, it’s an excellent choice for a stay in Sofia!

可愛い外観と内装は緑と黄色の二色に統一感を持たせた仕上がりでした。キッチンもあり、ここで調理をして食べることもできます。シャワールームもあり、ボディソープのみあるのでシャンプーは持参すると良いです。 スタッフの方は優しく、質問すればなんでも答えてくれました。ありがとうございました。 この度は素敵な滞在をありがとうございました。

Location is top of the consideration. Centre located that you can walk to most popular attraction. Metro or tram is very close within steps. Hotel is partly renovated. I believe it will be amazing when finished. Breakfast is not included. 15 Lev per person with small buffet that you can choose most popular items, ie, eggs, ham, sausages, breads or cereals. But they are not very hot on the warmers. However, I would still recommend people to go there for sleep and shower. Room was big enough and balcony overlook the city. Price is very good compare to same standard 3 stars hotel. Staff speaks reasonable English that is convenient. Good luck!

From 1935, this grand old lady works well. The cold war leaves it a little down at heal, but the water is spot on, breakfast good. They have a mini bar unlike some chains so there is a fridge in room to cool drinks as well. Opposite a ministry and it is location, location and location as the Islandic consulate concurs Central, quiet and very perfectly formed
