「The outside of the hotel needs sprucing up, the inside is tired too, but our room was huge. A slight sea view too. The staff were all lovely, breakfast was great too. The location was a pleasant walk away from the Princess Theatre. Plenty of places to eat along the way too.」

「After a bad stay over the summer that I had booked direct with the hotel I was worried, but my stay on Monday was amazing. Check-in was short, swift and painless. The room was compact but perfect for me. My one niggle is the technology in the room TV has limited selection, and working it needs a degree. The room was clean and comfortable and the AC/heating worked. Staff were friendly. The adjoining room room, though locked, was a concern for a solo traveller, but I suppose it can't be helped. The hotel is located right on the sea front. I had lovely stay.」

「Excellent location, staff lovely really friendly and helpful. Next time would try and book one of the cottages. Room we had was at the front of the pub and due to the heat the wi dows had to be open which meant people outside until midnight disturbing when trying to sleep. Food really good and waitresses lovely very helpful. Will definately return and would recommend for a short break.」

「Although the standard twin bed room we occupied is quite small, it is well decorated, has modern furniture and is spotlessly clean. There is a recent shower unit, a TV, a fan, and tea and coffee making facilities. There are twin electrical sockets and 4 USB outlets adjacent to each bed. While the window looks along the coast rather than directly out to sea, the view is very pleasant. The English breakfast was good, and the manager, Adam, very helpful. There is parking on a hard-standing at the side of the hotel. The sea and pier are close by, and the main shopping area is walkable. Overall we enjoyed our stay a lot. Two constructive suggestions are (1) a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries which won't stand on top of the curved sink, and (2) provision of a toilet brush.」
