「Our 1’st stay at ibis and wasn’t disappointed at all. The rooms are really nice and spacious with a large tv with only a few tv channels and no smart features to use. There is free internet with your name and room number and was very fast too. Free tea and coffee and room service every day clean and make your bed. You can can have clean towels as many as you like and the (male) chambermaids can not do enough for you. The only negative thing is the staff on reception need to brush up on their English language and listen to what customers are telling them instead of just shutting the conversation down to which i found rude. Trip.com sorted everything out without hesitation and rectified the hotels mistake.」

「Staff were friendly & a ground floor room with a bathtub was no problem. The free standing fan supplied didn't work & finally got a working one on the 3rd attempt. I booked the hotel as it said there was parking - no parking but still had parking sign up 🤔 I'm glad we took our own breakfast as the price for it is rather expensive. Other than that it was fine for a budget stay.」

「I’ve been fortunate enough to be well travelled and stayed in hundreds of hotels but this one is one of the best. The little details make this place so special. The accommodation was of exceptional quality with a massive bathroom, the room was spacious but so cosy I was asleep by 9.30! The food was delicious, the quality was outstanding and so lovely to see the chef taking real pride in what he does. The service was amazing, the waitresses and management were so accommodating and went above and beyond for us. This is the best value for a hotel, we hope to be back v soon!!」

「Although the standard twin bed room we occupied is quite small, it is well decorated, has modern furniture and is spotlessly clean. There is a recent shower unit, a TV, a fan, and tea and coffee making facilities. There are twin electrical sockets and 4 USB outlets adjacent to each bed. While the window looks along the coast rather than directly out to sea, the view is very pleasant. The English breakfast was good, and the manager, Adam, very helpful. There is parking on a hard-standing at the side of the hotel. The sea and pier are close by, and the main shopping area is walkable. Overall we enjoyed our stay a lot. Two constructive suggestions are (1) a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries which won't stand on top of the curved sink, and (2) provision of a toilet brush.」
