Travelodge Gardiner – Convenient Base with a Few Quirks
A great location just minutes from Yellowstone’s North Entrance and close to Gardiner’s shops and eateries. The room was clean and comfortable, with basics like a mini-fridge and coffee maker.
Free coffee was available 24/7 in the lobby, which I appreciated. Staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. Nice mountain view from my room (level 3).
A bit odd: the microwave is located outside in the corridor, not in the room. Also, no breakfast is provided.
Hooks Hideaway Motel was a fantastic place to stay! Located just about 20 minutes north of Babb, it was close for our convenience. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Our room was spotless, with comfortable beds and excellent water pressure in the shower. We also appreciated the thoughtful amenities, like the in-room heater for cooler nights. While the WiFi signal was a bit weaker the farther you were from the router, it was still reliable enough for basic use and didn’t impact our stay at all.
Overall, a clean and extremely cozy motel. We would absolutely book again!
We had a two night stay here while we explored Yellowstone. The lady who checked us in was super sweet and let us know that if we needed anything to just let her know. The room was fully stocked with towels, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and had a microwave in mini fridge, but did not have a blow dryer. If you are a light sleeper, there is a possibility that you could be woken up by neighbors that are getting up early to go into the park.
This place gave cabin vibes, and was great for two people. For the price you really can’t beat them.
