All good with our stay other than the chaotic breakfast and screatching chairs on the floor.
Breakfast supplies including crockery and food were constantly running out and the choice wasn't as good as we expected from a Hilton hotel
I recently stayed at the Camden Court Hotel in Dublin 2 and had a very pleasant experience. The location is unbeatable—right on Camden Street, which made it easy to walk to places like St. Stephen's Green, Grafton Street, and Trinity College. The Luas tram was also nearby, so getting around the city was very convenient.
The hotel itself was modern and clean. My room was spacious, well-kept, and had everything I needed: fast Wi-Fi, a good-sized desk, a comfortable bed, and tea/coffee facilities. One of the highlights for me was the leisure centre—having access to a heated pool, sauna, and steam room was a real treat after long days of walking.
Staff were friendly, professional, and happy to help with local recommendations. Breakfast was varied with hot and cold options, and I appreciated the availability of gluten-free choicesy.
If there’s anything to note, it’s that rooms facing the street can get a bit noisy at night, so I’d recommend requesting a quieter room if you’re a light sleeper.
Overall, it’s a great choice for business or leisure travellers looking for comfort and convenience in central Dublin.
Stayed here before a few times. This hotel is spotless, beds are comfortable. And it's opposite the sea.what More could you want?. Maybe the wine could be better, and the ceaser salad?.
Great reception staff. Room very basic and the weather was very wet and stormy. The windows let the rain through snd had to use towels to catch it. The hotel could do with a face-lift. Ceiling and communal areas upstairs very poorly decorated.
Good hotel only across the river from the main part of Dublin town and not far from the Guinness storehouse staff were amazing and the bar was great and had a lovely atmosphere.
The rooms were clean and had good amenities and the rooms even came fitted with marshal speakers and this is the first hotel that I wouldn’t just recommend to family and friends but insist on.
The hotel is beautiful and steeped in history. Breakfast was very nice and location is convenient for the airport. My only issue was we stayed in room 003 and in the morning about 4am delivery trucks starting driving back and forth down the side alley which actually woke us up as the window was open. One of the trucks even decided to back up down the alley with a constant beep beep beep which was really annoying. I'm not sure why he just didn't turn around but clearly he chose not to. The other small issue was the shower took forever to drain but this is an easy fix which the hotel said they would look after. Other than that, the stay was wonderful.
TTeacherTravelTimesI decided to ditch staying in the city centre based on my below par experiences there on my last trip. When looking on Trip.com, Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel in Dalkey was the same price as several dorm rooms in the city centre when I looked.
Getting there from Dublin Airport was relatively straightforward. I took and Aircoach from the airport to Dalkey/Ulverton Road and then walked for about 15 minutes. Up to the hotel entrance.
The hotel is fairly old fashioned but personally I found it very charming. The staff were well-trained in the art of hospitality, the rooms were clean, locals were in and out of the bar, restaurant and leisure centre.
Furthermore, the room was spacious with tea and coffee making facilities. The tv had a nice range of channels and the bathroom had a working shower and an abundance of towels. One thing missing was a toothbrush, toothpaste and shaving kit. I was told that you can get slippers on request as well.
Get the breakfast. It’s €16 and it’s a buffet style with a delicious selection of hot and cold food. There’s rashers, sausages, hash browns, pancakes, the works. I wish I could’ve eaten more! I loved that they had a wide range of ages working there as well. One of the staff tripped when she went to ask if everything was ok and she said ‘I’m fine, I’m falling for you!’ It was then that I knew that I was home.
The leisure centre is one of the best I’ve come across in a while. I’ve stayed in so many places where it’s literally an empty room with a few bits of old equipment but they had loads of weights, treadmills, bikes, etc. They do classes and physiotherapy as well. The pool and jacuzzi were also excellent. Plenty of ages in both as well but it wasnt overcrowded so you’ll get a few lengths in if you want.
Lastly, make sure to go for a walk about Dalkey and the surrounding areas. I spent the morning walking down to the Vico Baths, the Forty Foot (both swimming locations) and passed through Dalkey Village. Plenty of people will be out with their family and friends whether it be for a walk, bike ride, swim or a coffee and a chat. Ditch Dublin City and say yes to Dalkey!

ゲゲストExcellent hotel!
Great location with Dublin Airport only approx 10 minute drive.
Safe, secure car park on site
Convenient shuttle bus service
Lovely, spacious bar/restaurant with great choice of food and drinks. Plus, 24hr coffee dock beside bar.
Friendly staff
This was my third stay in the hotel, most recently, April 2025 I stayed in a rooftop balcony suite. King-size bed, living area, balcony and loads more. Great comfy rooms
