VVixieThe owner contacted us and picked up us up from the Zhongwei Nan Station.
It is pretty far away from the Zhongwei's downtown, and Tengger Desert is actually already counted as Inner Mongolia.
We came there at the low season, and the weather was quite freezing. Luckily the owner had informed us about the weather, so we changed our booking in time.
Even with a heater the room was still pretty cold. I can't imagine if we booked a tent.
The scenery was beautiful enough. Not too many events because there were not many tourists, thus we had a good relaxing time there.
The breakfast was simple ane satisfying. We enjoyed the meals.
The owner also gave us some souvenirs when we left the camp.
Note: We wished that there were a sweeper in the room. We would carry some sand in every time we got into the room. It would be great if there's a mat in front of the bathroom.

There's a small issue with the hot & cold water in the shower but it is not a problem with us. Although the hotel seems to be built in the late 90s, everything is working well. They also provide self laundry services. From the moment we checked in, the front desk lady and the security guard till we checked out , all of them were so helpful and welcoming. We are grateful for their warm hospitality. Just beside the hotel, walk to the left side across the road is Wuzhong's most famous lamb offal soup. It is also located less than 10 minutes away from Wuzhong Railway station.
Highly recommended to stay here!
