ゲゲストI stayed at this hotel from June 5-7 2026. The official check in time is listed at 2 pm. They did not give me access to my room until after 4 pm. Furthermore, laundry is listed as included service and they said their facility was not working and had to send it somewhere else. They charged me a hefty fee. I believe it’s a misnomer for this hotel to call themselves “international”
This hotel really only caters to Chinese speaking populations, which is fine and the typical situation in Lhasa, but to be more accurate, the hotel shouldn’t make the claim “international.” That would typically imply better more comprehensive services for people outside of one population and nationality.
This hotel is listed as 5 stars in Lhasa. I have traveled to many countries and stayed in many 5 star hotels. According to my experience, this hotel doesn’t measure up to a 5 star standard. Perhaps it did in the past. 5 star hotels typically have much better restaurants and dining options. The room was clean and I had a nice view.
ゲゲストI had a really positive experience during my stay, thanks to the amazing service from Danny and Bowen at the front desk. They were incredibly helpful, professional, and patient — solving my issues quickly and making sure everything was taken care of. Their friendly attitude and willingness to go the extra mile truly made a difference. Big thanks to both of them for making my stay so smooth and enjoyable! Highly appreciate the excellent service!
PPregretCons:
- Hotel expects you to have your own car? They don't have any car service to drive you anywhere, you are expected to arrange your own taxi, which is not easy in this area
- The spa services were too expensive for the quality of masseuse skills
- The western food options were very limited for dinner
- Can't do much activities if you only check-in for one night stay
Pros:
- Design is nice and elegant. Rooms are big and clean
- Breakfast food and views are great
Overall I don't think our experience was worth this price, but maybe if we stayed longer we could enjoy the offerings more. I would not stay here if I am not driving a car, as you will be trapped in the hotel area.
FFongThere’s room for improvement for the check in service. I provide my personal id card for check in but the customer service requested me the booking number which I find it ridiculous. The hotel was booked under my name and they supposed could have checked my booking right away. The customer service replied that it was relatively troublesome if only id is provided. I am clueless as to the standard of customer service provided by this 5 stars hotel. The rest of my stay is pleasant.
HHueyShan YapI am very impressed with the hotel. The room is clean and tidy, the bed and pillow is comfortable to sleep in. The hotel provided activities for us to enjoy and understand the local culture which I find it very useful and we enjoy very much. The breakfast is good and with lots of varieties. The food is tasty and fresh. We had dinner in the restaurant, and we enjoy every bit of it. I will surely recommend this hotel to my friends if they visit Lhasa.
ゲゲストThe room is nice and the staff is friendly and helpful. As I had to leave early for a flight, the staff kindly prepared a simple takeaway breakfast for me because I was earlier than breakfast time, which I was appreciative of. Able to have a good night rest and wash up after a long day travelling, and being in a central location, I could just walk out and find a restaurant easily.
ゲゲストThe room is spacious and clean. The hotel has a lovely courtyard. The service was excellent. We were offered welcome snacks and there’s a great variety of food for breakfast. They even offered hingjingtian drinks to sooth altitude sickness. It was all very thoughtful.
