The hotel is clean, it has strategic location, and delicious breakfast. The receptionist is charming and helpful.
They have a book in the room. They sent evening snacks (apples+rice crackers) and gave us a souvenir again in the morning.
Note: For international tourists, the hotel will need to borrow your passport for a while when checking in.
MMarco MonkeyA very new hotel with larger-than-life rooms and beds that feel like apartments. The location is midway between Shapotou and Zhongwei City, so it may not be ideal for some looking for nightlife, but there are several inexpensive restaurants in walking distance, so it's easy enough to get food. The bus stop of number 2 going to the city and the sand dunes is 5 minutes walk away - just time it right because there's one bus per hour in each direction. There's Chinese-style breakfast included which may not be for everyone but it was filling. Definitely worth the money! Had a blissful rest here and would go back.
ゲゲストA nice hotel with a friendly staff. The location is convenient for travel to the town itself. I would gladly stay here again.
Important note! The cab driver initially took me to the wrong hotel. And unfortunately Trip.com only shows the Chinese name in the hotel listing.
However note the photo of the front of the hotel! A huge sign at the entrance indicates ”Kaili Boutique Hotel”! Don't let anyone
”accidentally” take you somewhere else!
KKatie180For the purpose of visiting Ningxia University, the location is great as it is right across the street from the school. However, if you're looking for something closer to malls or other downtown attractions it may be a bit further than you would hope. However, the room was clean, there was just a faint smell of cigarette smoke in the non-smoking room, but nothing to complain about too much. The workers were also very kind and considerate.
