I highly recommend this Marriott Hotel in Bogota! I’ve stayed here for a week for a vacation with my mom and my sister. This was the first time for us in Bogota and by far it’s the best hotel in Bogota or probably the Whole country of Colombia. I visited Medellin as well but this hotel in was accessible and exceptional because not just the location that is accessible nearby but also the excellent restaurants inside the hotel and also with the exceptional services from all the hotel staff from the Rockstar Front desk staff, hardworking Housekeeping staff and especially with the outstanding Restaurants staff esp. @ The Market and their executive lounge crew! They pampered their guests and rendered a Great quality Service! No doubt, I will definitely stay back at this five star hotel with Great amenities, So when in Bogota, booked your stay @ JW Marriott Bogota Hotel and Spa! I want to highlight the amazing customer service from Johan Gutierrez he was more than kind and amazing with me and my mom. Also Johanna Castellanos , Andres Alvarez and Génesis García. All of you guys are amazing keep rocking. JW Marriott should be proud of all of you. I wouldn't give a 10/10 to the hotel customer service because one of the employees has a nasty attitude with me and my family, his name is Christian Pérez his responses and attitude were very disrespectful, every time me and my family approached the reception he wasn’t nice at all until the point that if I have a question I waited for Johanna instead of asking him. Fortunately he was the only staff member out dozens employees with that behavior. I definitely recommend this hotel.

I am a Bonvoy ambassador who had visited the the JW Bogota in the past. This review reflects my second stay in Dec 2023. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of previous visits. Arrived to the hotel at 4:30pm, room was not ready, and were advised room key would be delivered to lounge. Lounge offerings were minimum, and after a 30 min wait, decided to dine in hotel restaurant. It was early, and there were five full tables. Waited 40 min to receive food after ordering and meals were cold. After receiving the meal, it took another ten min to get the attention of the waiter for reheating. In all, service delivery and food quality was not memorable. Zero service recovery was offered. Now, approx. 6pm, returned to the front desk for room keys, success they were now avail, even though we arrived after published checkin time. We were please to receive a room upgrade to a jr exec suite, the room upgrade we’ve received as an ambassador during prior visits. Decided to go to the executive lounge for drinks. To our surprise, liquor selection was different from previous stays, even one week earlier offered a larger selection. I had one drink my husband two. Returned to the lounge for two additional and was advised there was a two person drink max, and would be charged for both. Again, we only ordered three drinks earlier, this was explained, but the lounge attendant insisted in expensing to our room. This was a one stay, frustrations were communicated at checkout and received a thank you. Historically, I traveled through Bogota intentionally as I have come to enjoy time at the JW. This experience will prompt me to seek alternatives.
