強羅駅より5分程度で好立地。美術館などへも車いらずで行ける。会員制のホテルではあるが、ビジターも歓迎している。ホテルスタッフはとても好感が持てる。わんこ連れのための客室は１室のみだが、わんこのための設備はきちんと整っていて良い。

ロケーションが良く、コンビニ（ローソンは歩いて10分程度で品数が豊富）・鉄道・バスなどのアクセスが良かった。スタッフの対応が良く、部屋は清潔感があった。風呂（温泉）の温度が時間帯によっては低く感じた。

ゆっくりと温泉につかり、多くの美術館をめぐりのんびり楽しめる。近くに行列のできる「田むら銀かつ亭」があり、歩いて彫刻の森美術館にも行けます。

The resort is very near to Gora station. Having read previous reviews here, we came prepared with small luggage. Thank goodness because our room was at the top level and there is no lift! The traditional Japanese room is huge and our family of 4 adults were able to spread out quite comfortably. The futon beds are very comfortable. The main attraction of this resort is the public bath. We’re so glad we can experience this unique Japanese culture right within the resort. We tried to go to a natural outdoor Onsen at other venues, but many of them are either fully booked or closed early. Most of the eateries and shops closed early in Hakone, by 4 or 5pm. The nearest convenience shop is a uphill walk some 7-10min away.
