A space of darkness turned into a space of light: the building's past as a court and a women's prison that was transformed into a hidden green oasis with a unique character. Various elements of the old building were maintained and beautifully blended with a modern, minimalistic and wellness-focused design in warm tones. The rooms are spacious, the bathroom simply huge and the garden views add to the overall feeling of peace and serenity. A lovely touch the board games room with billiard table, while the sauna and outdoor pool were perfect for unwinding. A true Berlin gem, turning its rich history into a delightful and romantic stay.

This hotel has had a revamp and is now called the Art Hotel, Park Plaza. There is another Park Plaza nearby…..we ended up there first! So don’t get confused!! Once you find this hotel….we arrived on the day of a national strike… it’s fab. Ignore the journey planner…. This hotel is a less than 10 min walk from the western end of the U1 line. The room we had was on 5th floor on a quite busy street, but it was so quiet we didn’t realise it until we looked out of the window the following morning. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, a great night sleep was had by us both. Shower was a big rainfall type with a smaller head shower head option if you wanted. Complimentary Elemis shower gel, hand wash, as well as body lotion. Breakfast was worth every penny as part of your B&B option. Otherwise it’s €18 for a full option or €5 for coffee and a croissant in the bar. Breakfast was fresh, pastries, cheese, meats, toast, mushrooms, sausage, bacon, pancakes, cereals, yoghurts; you could make your own fresh juice from fresh veggies & fruits. Coffee was excellent (I was told)…. I took my own teabags as I am very fussy, and made great tea. There is a spectacular hot water urn……that is very ornate and was awesome. Staff were multilingual and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very insightful about the local area, and the available public transport options. I would highly recommend this hotel which has pop art throughout. We are planning to head back to visit Berlin again and we will most certainly stay here again.

ベルリン中央駅から徒歩３分の位置です。但し、直近には十分な夕食を取るのに適したレストランは有りません。また、駅もこれが中央駅とは思えない小ささです。３層になっているので建坪が小さいのは理解しますが、ハンブルク中央駅やライプツィヒ中央駅と比べたらかなり地味です。親切に２日間の市内公共運送無料券を作ってくれました。それでポッダム迄のミニツアーをすることが出来ました。ラッキーです。朝食も満足の行くレベルでした。

このホテルで5泊の滞在を終え、素晴らしい経験をしました。スタッフは周辺地域やベルリンについて非常に知識があります。私の部屋は素晴らしく、朝食は素晴らしかった。エグゼクティブラウンジはよく備えられ、スタッフは親切でした。次回の訪問のために、この中央に位置するホテルを強くお勧めします。

地理的な位置は非常に優れており、ベルリンの中心部にあるポツダム広場にあるため、安全係数は非常に高く(東ベルリンなどとは異なり)、一人で旅行します!この場所を強く押してください;ベルリンフィルハーモニーホール、ブランデンブルク門、ベルリン映画博物館などの有名な観光スポットまで歩いて保存できます。 部屋の面積は非常に広く、40平方メートルから始まります。眺めの良い大きなベッドルームをお勧めします。窓はメインストリートに面しており、景色はとても良いです。朝食の質はとても良いです!

比較的大きなホテルで、便利な中心部に位置し、清潔でモダン、素敵な客室を備えています。 客室はとてもモダンで新鮮で、ベルリンで一泊するのに最適です。ホテルのロケーションは、公共交通機関が近く、レストラン、ショップ、バー、観光スポットなどがすぐそばにあり、他に類を見ないほど素晴らしいです。

My son & I had booked the Gold Palais Hotel in Prenzlauer Berg as our base for a 4 night stay culminating in an evening in the Olympiastadium to enjoy a Coldplay concert. We arrived late one Saturday afternoon in early July and parked for a short spell just across the road to the hotel. Check in was easy and managed by two friendly receptionists, a young man from Nepal and a nice young lady from Poland. Both spoke English. They explained the set up including what to do if we came back after 23:00 and the reception was no longer manned. This included having a key to open the side door and an emergency number... just in case. And they offered us the one remaining car park space in the underground parking area, costing 18,00 per 24 hours. Super. We left our car down there and didn't see it again for 4 days which was great. We had a room on the 2nd floor. The first thing we had to do was to go down to reception and ask them to separate the beds converting them from one double to two singles. No problem. The room itself overlooked the busy, and noisy street. We left the window open overnight which, on hindsight wasn't so clever owing to the noise. We should simply have used the air conditioning. Apart from the relatively comfortable beds, the room was very clean and modern. We had a modern desk, chair and large wardrobe with a safe. We didn't make much use of the largish flat screen TV but were happy that there was free WiFi and enough sockets for all our electronic equipment. There was a kettle and enough coffee and tea to keep us happy. I missed a fridge, but OK... The separate bathroom was also ultra clean and modern. I liked the large, walk in shower with two shower heads, including the rainforest one which needed some repairs during our stay. The free bathroom amenities were from the Grown Alchemist. Apart from a vending machine in the reception area there were no other amenities like a breakfast room etc. We took our breakfast across the street in a local cafe and I used the late opening kiosk nearby for purchasing water and other drinks. One evening we came back really late and I had inadvertently forgotten my key. Unfortunately nobody answered the emergency number given. So we resorted to asking for help from a couple of guys lounging on their balcony on the 1st floor. They saved us from a night sleeping on the streets... All in all, we enjoyed our stay in this very new hotel. Once they've ironed out some of the things mentioned above this will be an even greater place to stay.

コストパフォーマンスの高い素敵なホテルです。ロケーションは市内中心部の主要ランドマークからそれほど近くないという少し不便なところにありますが、周辺の公共交通機関は便利です (バス 142 と U バーン 5/8)。スタッフはフレンドリーでサービスも良く、友人とここで 2 日間快適に過ごしました。皆さんにお勧めします。

Whether you come to Berlin for the arts, nightlife, restaurants, or to visit home the location and style of Locke Hotel is unparalleled. The staff was incredible and the room superior to any I have stayed in for the price. Fashionable, friendly, and on the Spree! The room was spacious enough to have several guests visit before we went for dinner and also the lobby and the restaurant Anima are incredible choices just an elevator ride away. The 5 minute walk to Ostbahnhof made the entire city quickly accessible.

I loved this hotel at first sight ! BIg and clean rooms with a fantastic breakfast ! i missed sauna but friends of mine confirm me that they spend there a great time ! Be there during an event has been really pleasant ! Well served with taxi due to far distance from city center.
