The condition of this hotel is the worst I have seen in the past 30 years! Customer service / Receptionist We came all the way from Chefchaouen and our driver couldn’t find the hotel. When we contacted the hotel, the receptionist didn’t want to give the address without my booking number from Booking.com. I explained that we booked directly, but he said he didn’t have a direct booking from us either. Finally he explained our driver where it was. Upon arrival I was asking him about the unpleasant and unwelcoming phone conversation we had and he simply said ‘you are here now”. He is clearly not fit for the job or in any other customer service role. Room 614 had a lot wear and tear and is not well maintained. Scratches all over the walls, floor pieces chipped, sliding door to the outside terrace couldn’t be locked, skirting heavily damaged, curtains not in good condition, dusty and were not able to hang properly. Worst of all was the state of the bathroom! They told us the hotel was build in 2016, but can’t believe this is true as it looks more like 1986. All was dirty and full of mold, see photos! The manager promised she would do something about the bathroom, but instead we got offered a different room which we didn’t accept. In our country we could never have a hotel open with such a bad and unhygienic circumstances!! Also the corridors, lift and restaurant area (chairs, bar & tables) were dirty. The people from the F&B department were very kind, helpful, friendly and well trained. Special thanks goes to Hamza, the guy who served the entire restaurant on his own in the evening.
